The platform was alive with the hustle and bustle of students boarding the Hogwarts Express for another year of magical education.

Among them, the Golden Quartet stood together, their anticipation palpable as they prepared to embark on their third year at Hogwarts.

Celeste adjusted the strap of her bag as she exchanged excited glances with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Despite the lingering uncertainty of what lay ahead, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement coursing through her veins.

As they made their way onto the train, the quartet found an empty compartment and settled in, eager to begin their journey.

Celeste's eyes wandered to the window, where she caught sight of a figure slumbering peacefully in the compartment.

"Professor R.J. Lupin?" Hermione whispered, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Harry nodded, his gaze fixed on the sleeping professor. "Looks like it. Wonder what a professor's doing on the train?"

Their curiosity was interrupted by a sudden chill that swept through the compartment, causing Celeste to shiver involuntarily.

A sense of unease settled over the group as they felt the presence of something dark and foreboding lurking outside,

"What's going on?" Ron asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Before anyone could answer, the train lurched to a sudden stop, and the air grew thick with a sense of impending doom.

Harry's instincts kicked into overdrive as he felt a surge of protectiveness wash over him, particularly towards Celeste, whose fear he could sense even as she tried to mask it.

"Stay back, Celeste," Harry murmured, his voice low with urgency.

Celeste nodded, her heart pounding in her chest as she clung to Harry's words for comfort.

She watched in horror as a dark, hooded figure glided past their compartment, its presence suffocating and malevolent.

As the dementor drew closer, Harry's vision began to blur and his thoughts turned to darkness.

He felt himself slipping away, consumed by the despair and hopelessness that radiated from the creature.

Suddenly, Celeste's voice cut through the fog of his mind like a beacon of light, her words a soothing balm against the darkness.

"Harry, it's okay. You're safe," she whispered, her hand reaching out to gently stroke his hair.

Harry blinked, his senses slowly returning to him as he found himself cradled in Celeste's lap.

He looked up at her, gratitude shining in his eyes as he realized the depth of their connection.

"Thanks, Celeste," he murmured, his voice hoarse with emotion.

As the train resumed its journey, the quartet found themselves face to face with Professor Lupin, who explained the presence of the dementors and assured them of their safety.

Arriving at Hogwarts, they were greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of the castle, but their joy was short-lived as they encountered Malfoy in the Great Hall, his sneer aimed squarely at Harry.

"Potter! Is it true you fainted?", Malfoy whispered in a teasing voice. "I mean, you actually fainted?"

Celeste's temper flared at the sight of Malfoy's arrogance, and she wasted no time in defending her friend.

"Perhaps if you spent less time sneering at others, Malfoy, you'd actually accomplish something worth bragging about," she retorted, her voice dripping with disdain.

Malfoy sputtered in indignation, but before he could respond, Dumbledore's voice rang out, calling the students to attention.

Later, as they bid Hermione and Ron goodnight and retreated to the Gryffindor common room, Celeste and Harry found themselves alone for the first time that evening.

The crackling fire cast a warm glow over the room as they settled onto the plush sofas, their hearts still racing from the day's events.

"You were amazing back there, Celeste," Harry said, his eyes shining with admiration.

Celeste blushed, her heart fluttering at the sight of Harry's earnest gaze.

"Thanks, Harry. I just couldn't stand by and let Malfoy get away with being a prat."

They fell into a comfortable silence, the air heavy with unspoken words and unspoken feelings.

Finally, Harry reached out to take Celeste's hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through her veins.

"Celeste, there's something I've been meaning to tell you," Harry began, his voice trembling with uncertainty.

Celeste's heart skipped a beat as she gazed into Harry's eyes, the warmth of his touch searing her skin.

"What is it, Harry?"

Harry took a deep breath, his resolve strengthening as he met Celeste's gaze with unwavering determination. "I think—,"

Harry's voice cut off as he was interrupted by fellow Gryffindor students bustling through the common room.

With a smile that lit up the room like a thousand stars, she leaned in to press a soft kiss against Harry's cheek, "Goodnight, Harry."

Sealing their unspoken bond with a promise of endless possibility.
