Destined With You

Chapter 1

"Kate grab my hand" she grabbed his hand and he pulled her up. Jack saw that her arm was injured and he decided to get medicinal leaf for  her. But then Kate stopped him..

"Look Jack, don't...
we are trapped in this forest, I don't know how long we will be here" Kate said. Jack place  his hands on her cheeks and said, you don't have to worry I am with you, we have to keep moving"

Back in the Mansion
The rest of the family are worried about Jack and Kate.
   both Kate family and Jack's family were there Kate's mom started pointing fingers at Jack's mom

"If anything happens to my daughter, then I will have your whole family arrested", Mrs Amelia declared.

Then Lina Jack's ex said, "don't point fingers at Her like that, she has done more than enough for your family" 

Kate's dad turned and declared that ever since he married his daughter into this family, she has been facing problems."my daughter has been missing for 2 weeks now and here you people are acting like you don't care" 

Jack's father who could no longer take the insult that there are throwing at his family responded,"we shouldn't blame eachother for anything, remember we are a family, (he turned to his other son) Victor call the police'

Victor decided to dial the police number when something just came to his mind, "dad, I remember Jack phoned me and he said that some men attacked them, and they are stuck in the forest."

Mrs Amelia angrily spoke, "so you knew about this and didn't tell us right, how dare you and your family deceive us, if my daughter is harm in anyway you all will pay"

Jack's mother stood up from the chair, "your daughter, has been married to my son for 3 years but she couldn't give me one grandchild if anything happens to my son then I will hand you and your poor family in jail" she angrily walked away

Mrs Amelia burst into tears hugging her husband, "what if something happens to our daughter I won't be able to live another day" her Husband rebuked her for what she said, "don't say that our daughter will come back "

Lina immediately ran up to her room and decided to phone  Ethan, one of the men who attacked them, she told him to kill both Kate and Jack she then disconnect the call. "Now wait and see, Jack you chose Kate over me right wait and watch, this is the beginning of your suffering" she smiled saying this to herself.

Lisa one of their daughter-in-law, was in the kitchen making dinner, when she noticed a letter on the table, but then victor immediately collected the letter from her.

"Tell me what's in that letter" she try to grab the letter from him but, he immediately burnt the letter using the matches.

"Look, Lisa I don't want any harm to come to you dat is why I decided to burn the letter" She angrily looked at the burning letter, and turned to Victor, "this isn't fair, you know we had one chance in exposing who the culprit is but you ruined everything" she left the kitchen.

Victor watched as she leaves, "I'm sorry Lisa, but I'm doing this for your safety"

In the forest.

As Jack sprinted through the dense  forest, his heart pounding his chest, an unsettling feeling washed over him.  Suddenly, he turned, his eyes scanning the surroundings, only to realize that Kate was no where to be seen. Panic, seized him and he raised back, his footsteps echoing through the trees. And then, there she was, standing weakly, her face pale and contorted with pain. "Kate!" he cried out, his voice filled with anguish. He reached out, his arms wrapping around her fragile form just as she collapsed, her body going limp against his chest.
