To say that everyone was shocked would be an understatement. All of the students and staff of Beacon Academy were watching the Summit in the Amphitheatre. Everything that they have learned from the President was shocking enough but when Conrad revealed the age of the United States made them unable to comprehend.
Ruby: W-What did he say?
Ruby asked completely shocked to hear what might just be the greatest revelation of Remnant.
Weiss: T-The United States is-
Weiss trailed off.
Yang: 2,128 YEARS OLD?!!!
Yang shouted in the Amphitheatre causing everyone to double-take and begin sputtering.
Beacon Student(1): T-That's impossible!
Beacon Staff(1): H-How can that be?!
Beacon Student(2): This has to be a lie!
Beacon Student(3): Yeah, this has to be a trick!
Beacon Student(4): But why would they even trick us?!
They began sputtering and loudly talking with one another as they were unable to believe what they just heard.
Jaune: No way!
Pyrrha: I can't believe it! Not even the kingdoms are that old!
Among the shocked is Blake who begins to remember what Six told her the last time they met.
Six: \\Should everything that you believe be proven wrong and you still won't believe it, then death will be your fate for being an idiot.//
She has been watching the Summit from the very beginning and after what she and all of Remnant heard, she could not even think of anything else.
Blake: Is this what Six meant?
She thought to herself as they all watched the Summit. They could hear the yelling and shouting of the delegates from the monitor calling the President a liar.
Vale Councilman(1): //You're lying!//
Mistral Councilman(1): //You are tricking us! Not even our kingdoms are that old!//
They heard the delegates shout before President Conrad spoke.
Conrad: //After everything you have seen and heard, do I look to be in the mood to play games? Everything you heard from me...is the truth. So allow me to enlighten you all.//
Ozpin: //By all means.//
Conrad: //This is the map of the planet before and its name wasn't Remnant. Its name in ancient language was Terra.//
When Jaune heard that it made him double-take.
Jaune: Wait!? That's the same name of my sister Saphron's wife!
Jaune thought to himself in shock.
Conrad: //But its common name...was Earth.//
Then two idiots spoke at the same time.
Vale Councilor(2)/Beacon Student(5): What kind of idiot names a planet after dirt?! //What kind of idiot names a planet after dirt?!//
Both said before laughing not noticing the looks they were getting before Conrad spoke.
Conrad: //That would be the ones that existed long before America was even created. And the name is one that our nation called 'our' home before you even called it Remnant. So mind your next words for they may as well become your 'last'.//
