Story: Sixteen-year-old Cassie Liz Brown is sick of her life. It just won't go the way she wants it. Her parents have been fighting ever since the death of her sister Kallie, and school isn't any better. The only good thing about her life is her best friend, Amelia Sanchez. However, Amelia betrays Cassie, and the poor girl just can't stand it anymore. She decides to take her life. She wants it to be quick and painless, so she opens a drawer to take out a gun, to shoot herself in the head. However, in place of the gun is a rose. Reminded of the first time she and Amelia talked in first grade (make it something about a rose, duh), she takes the rose, squeezing it in her hand while she fights back her tears. As her hand bleeds profusely, the pain mixes with the remembrance of what her dying sister said to her, "don't cry, don't hurt, don't fall," Cassie summons her courage and decides not to take her life. Blah blah blah... (MAKE THE ROSE IMPORTANT TO THE STORY!!!)
