burning curiosity (buggy x reader)

first meeting

Captain buggy of the buggy pirates, one the of most feared pirates on the east blue. Everyone knew not to mess with him or his crew, and if you did, you cross your fingers and hope you keep your life. Why my town? We have nothing he could want so why?, I thought to myself while standing there, almost frozen not sure what will happen next.

He just stood there, looking at me with those piercing eyes that almost stare into your soul. I decided to try and walk away, but I only got about three steps away before he spoke in a tone that demanded your attention. "Wait! Now where do you think your going?" He said waiting for me to answer. Time seemed to freeze as I tried to come up with a excuse that he hopefully would just accept and let me leave. "I-i was just going home captain, I don't want any trouble", God I hope he lets me go.

He just kept staring at me then...he started laughing, a manic, psychotic laugh that made him just that more terrifying. "Oh your just a treat!, you got guts I'll give you that kid", he said and with one last look he walked away, leaving me standing there confused. After a minute standing there I snapped back to reality and ran to my house and locked up my house and waited the raid out. I just can't stop thinking about how he just left without anything, he didn't even try to threaten me it's so weird, but I couldn't keep thinking about that. I had a life to live and manage but I have a feeling I'll see him again.
