You awake to the sound of your annoying alarm going off. Groaning as you pull the cord out of the wall to make stop, you lay on your stomach before kicking your sheets off of you as you sit up- rubbing the sleepiness out of your eyes.
You stretch your arms up as you're backbone pops before you relax your arms back down. You drape your legs off the bed, moving your feet into your fuzzy slippers before standing up and slumping over to the bathroom.
You brush you teeth before putting down the toothbrush and swishing water around in your mouth. You had so much to do and yet you were slugging around like a sloth? Looking in the mirror as your refection stairs right back at you.
The voice's in your head telling you bad things.
Grabbing your pills as you plop them into your mouth and dry swallowing them.
The voice's slowly fading away until they come to a stop.
You made your way towards your closet- grabbing some baggy clothing and putting it on before walking out to the kitchen.
You had just moved into this town and nothing has changed, your therapist said it would be a good fresh start- which to be honest you knew they just wanted you to leave.
You grabbed a cup before pouring some milk into it- the cup slipped out of you're hand as it shattered all over the kitchen floor, milk was now spilled all over the place. You didn't seem to mind as you stepped right over it, grabbing a biscuit and eating right there.
Once you had finished you slipped on some shoe's, grabbed yours key's and left the house. The best thing about moving town's was you got a nice house in the forest,
You left the door unlocked- as you had only closed it. You're life must suck if you don't even own a car. You walked along the dirt path before walking straight into the town. Walking wasn't a bad thing for you- you seemed to have found a liking for it. You pushed open the doors of a coffee shop, the lights were dimly lit- the nice smell of coffee hitting you like a train.
You felt as if people were already judging you, you felt so delusional. The waiter seated you down at a table far in the corner before taking your order, as usual you got a dark roasted coffee- no creamer- no salt- no nothing. Just the way you liked it.
So many eyes watching, what did they want? The voice started to fill you're head, why do they come back?
The waiter came back with your order before walking away, you sipped the piping hot coffee as the burning feeling filled the back of your throat. You pictured what would happen if you listened to them, screams of men, women, even teens filled your ears.
You smiled at the thought before taking another sip. You could go for the one's in the bathroom first- little to no security cameras were around the place. Snapping their necks would end them easily.
The waiter brought out your check, "Thanks," they only nodded at your reply as you gave them the money before finishing your drink and making your way out of the shop.
The streets were busy now, people of all kind walked along the sidewalks and cars drove by. Wind blew by you as your hair ruffled a bit, you looked around you, everything had a meaning- something to fulfill. They deserved to live, you were a second option, a waste in the air.
People stared at you, in hatred? scared?
Everything was dim, as if the sun was also hiding. You kept walking for a while, a hunger slowly starting to raise inside. Scraping sounds filled your ears, metal against metal. You pushed open the door's,
The scent of blood filled your nose, empty tables lined against the wall. You walked up to the counter that sat in the middle. "RING FOR SERVICE" you looked down at the golden bell that sat on the table, the note in front was neatly written.
The ringing sound of the bell filled the room, your ears feeling as if they were bleeding.
A banging sound came from the back, possibly just the air conditioner not working. It took a while before a tall guy with blood covered almost all over his apron, a frown was quickly made into a smirk. Everything had stopped, the only sound you could hear was the air conditioner and the fan that laid a top of you- it was shaking badly.
You could just almost feel it, it falling down crushing you right there and then. No one would know, the blades cutting through your flesh.
The sound of someone clearing their throat snapped you out of your trance.
"What brings you here, little lamb~?" He looked you up and down- head to toe. As if seeing the perfect way to cut you up. You wouldn't scream,
He leaned his arms against the table, his eyes felt like fly traps. "May i have some pork," a classic. Pork was a more popular choice, the fan kept turning.
He nodded before turning to leave through the door way he had entered from a while ago.
You stood their, objects seemed to move on their own.
Giggling filled your ears, it had started again.
He came back around the corner with a paper bag, he placed it down on the counter. "Do you accept cash?," he seemed to chuckle at this. Was you're question funny?
"Oh dear~ i accept cash, card, Venmo. Anything that tiny mind of you'res can think about." He waved his hand out towards the door before returning his glare at you. "but if you ask my- cash is my personal favorite." A small smile spread across your face. Why had his words brought you joy?
"15.75" you handed him the cash as he counted it before slipping it into his pocket. Smart. He looked at you before smiling again, "Not much of a talker, eh?" You shrugged, grabbing the paper bag and heading out of the door.
You walked threw the forest, twigs snapping while the birds whistle. You opened the door, the light was dim, almost in a calming way. You set the bag on the counter, blood dripping from the counter to the floor.
Glass was still shattered, the milk had now all dried up on the floor. You opened the fridge and put the bag in their, you needed to go shopping soon. The voice had came back, how sane where you? did you have an sanity left at all?
