Me and Emily were chatting. "So, do you think we need to find another group soon?" Emily said. She was kind of right..we did need to find another group. One that..functioned? "Yeah." I replied. Evie nuzzled into my leg. God, she grew up a lot. She was a puppy at the start of the apocalypse. Well..not exactly a puppy, I used to tell people not to turn their backs on her and run, because she would bite their ass. It's true. "Emily, do you remember that girl..?" Emily looked up from what she was doing. "Oh yeah! What was her name..? Uh..Clementine! Yeah, Clem." I sighed. I really missed her. And Duck. I missed his silliness- he was so goofy. If only he had lived a bit longer.. "What's wrong, Y/N?" Emily asked. She could tell I was upset. "Um..nothing, I was just thinking about what we were—" "There were two lies in that sentence." Commented Emily. "I know you miss Clem.." She Said. It was like she could read my mind. Wait..What if she could?
"Come on, let's be serious for a second. We're thirteen and- well, you're fourteen, and we don't have a group. No guardians..or people to watch our back." I said, and we also needed to go on a supply run too. We were just kids. We hardly got to live our lives. We had to become adults.
(Sorry that this was so short! I just wanted to give a view on Y/N, Evie and Emily's lives now.)
