The Matriculation Exams, probably the first most important exam for every Indian. Most of the typical Indian parents, will go to any length to have you do well in your Exams. Tuitions, back to back classes, home assignments, self study, everything one possibly can do for the best possible score.
Sana classifies herself as a diligent girl, ready to tackle the Board Exams. She's clueless on where to begin. But she knows that she has to do really well for her to be able to study in Guwahati.
Her best friend, Ro, he was her motivation... doing everything she possibly could to study in the same place and the same college as him. Ro was equally determined to study together with her as well.
But life can't be so sweet, right? Two best friends wanting to study together, if it was that easy, there won't be any nobles or movies made with the plot twists.
Sana wakes up at 3:45 am every morning, writes down her routine or the so called to do lists for the day, coz she has got 4 tuition classes, which leaves her with almost no time at all. Ro has got 5, which technically serves a great purpose in keeping both of them occupied, with the homeworks from tuitions and schools. But hey, the good thing is, out of the 4 or 5 tuitions they do, 3 are mutual, meaning from the same teacher, so they aren't technically in the gutter as much according to them, as long as they can spend their time together, it's all worth it, isn't it? Teenage things.
Ro was a night owl, unlike Sana who was more of an early bird. How does Ro and Sana match their timings then?
Ro wakes up at 3:45 and literally text Sana and assures her he is studying, even though at the end only, Sana discovers Ro has been waking up only to text her.
What a grand disaster they both made, without even realizing.
The exams are approaching, the pre board exams are now done, but the marks aren't yet satisfactory. It's the season of mock tests, revising, correcting, more and more practice.
And in the middle of all this, they both got so indulged with their own works, that they somehow lost track of each other. There aren't any wishes for the day via texting anymore, there aren't any calls either, its only the pictures and songs that stays.
Were they nerds and exceptionally good at studies? Not really I guess, they somehow became distant to each other. The reason, you'll discover that later.
The board exams happened, the results declared, lots of cries involved too, and just like that both went separate ways, only to discover themselves as parallel lines, existing side by side with each other but never really intersecting.
