Before I start I just want to say I hope y'all enjoy this story I'm not a professional writer......yet,thank you.

Franka's pov
     In everyone's life they all have something to fear.
Four years ago my father went in search of greener pastures cause we were broke,he used the last money he had on him to buy tickets to Atlanta,he could only buy for four people and we were six.
   He left me and my elder sister in Nigeria promising us that he would do his best to make us meet them as soon as possible, they all left and since my sister was above 18 she became my legal guardian.

     My sister has gone through a lot for me and I understand but sometimes i question why my dad left us and didn't search for greener pastures in Nigeria.

     Two years after they had moved my mum and dad got divorced for some unknown reasons,it hurt when my mum didn't even try to take custody of us,did she not like having children,later we found out she was cheating and I was heartbroken,I loved my mum but I helped my dad.

    My sister faith left when she was seven and barely even recognizes me,my brother Franklin,I may behave like I hate him but deep down I really miss him.

  "Franka" my sister called me disrupting my thoughts "yes?" I answered I sat up on my bed to look at her "your teacher called" she sighed  "you got into another fight Franka" yeah I know i knew I was forgetting something I have anger issues I have been going to anger management classes but I don't think it's working,my dad pays for those and my sister even recommended a therapist which has been of no help too.

"Aunty blessing, it's not like that those people gan they like to annoy me" I said and stood up going on my knees "I'm sorry I won't do it again" I said begging her "Franka you have said that a million times now" I knew I kept disappointing her but I've tried a lot "okay this time I swear I won't fight for a week I will try" I said grinning "and take your drugs" she said leaving my room " dinner is ready come downstairs if you want to eat" I smiled and followed her downstairs putting my hand one her waist.

     After dinner I went to my room for homework and all "can I come in?" Blessing asked  "sure" I said closing my laptop "what's up?" I asked her and she smiled "daddy was on the phone said he wanted to greet you" I smiled a sad one "well I was doing homework did you tell him that?" I asked and she nodded I smiled and sat on my bed "do you thin he had a specific reason for not taking us?" I asked and she sighed sitting down on my bed "well I knew at that time he was angry at me and he probably was already going to not take me cause he was going to leave one of you and you needed a guardian" she said and smiled but I knew it was a weak one.

        "Franklin texted me,said daddy is seeing a new woman" I scoffed "of course do you expect him to drown in his sorrows" I said and she laughed " I bet she will be beautiful" she said and smiled placing her leg on my bed and resting her head on it " I hope she isn't like Cinderella's stepmom" I said and she laughed. We sat there for a while just talking "I better get going,don't want to be late for work tomorrow"she said and I hugged her "good night" she smiled in return and went to her room,i also slept.

          The next morning was very troublesome, I woke up late and rushed to brush and have my bath.

I put on my ugly uniform some stockings,shoes put my notes in my bag and rushed out of my room.I saw my sister and smiled at her "good morning" I said and she smiled " how was your night" she asked and i nodded
"There are cereals in the cabinet and milk in the fridge your lunch is at the dinning table,I will come to pick you today.here is snacks money" she said handing me one thousand naira.I smiled and went to hug her.

       My sister dropped me off at school in her Toyota Camry and I waved at her putting on my school beret which wasn't compulsory but I did anyway. I walked to my class to see a teacher there I looked down at my watch and saw I missed assembly "good morning ma" o said greeting the teacher and going to my seat. as you may know my school isn't very rich you know,and I am basically the smartest in my class.

     After the first two periods were done I opened a cookie to munch on while reading a story, my other classmates have known bettthan to disturb me while doing anything "who is Franka folaranmi?" The vice principal came in and questioned I raised up my hand and she nodded " the principal is calling you" she said and left everyone started talking "what did you do now?"  The only person I could tolerate Toni asked me I shrugged and left to go yo the office, I kept thinking about the promise I made to my sister knowing fully well she wouldn't be happy with me I sniffled and went.

       I knocked on his office door "mr Gabriel, it's me Franka" I said "come in" he responded I entered to see my sister with a smile on her face but she was looking at something,in this case someone I turned my head to see my DAD..........
