The meeting of one

I pack my bag, i gotta bring the essentials. i gather my phone, headphones, wallet, mints, inhaler, hair tie, and a photo album. i know the photo album isnt nessecary, but it reminds me of my mom and I'd like to keep her near me, thank you very much.

I walk over to the shady area, where a bunch of kids are sitting by, giggling on and on about tween stuff.

"HEYYAA, YOU, OVER HEREE!" Fuck, why is everyone so loud. "U-uhm, me!!?" i shout. "YEAH, IM ELLIANA, NOW GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" i jog towards the group, how the fuck are they here already?

"Hey guys, im the new student in your class, Y/n." i smile. Its nice having a decent friend group that isn't full of absolute WEIRDOS.

"Heya!" Elliana waves at me. She has golden flowy mid-length hair, and pale skin. she waves her hand at me, and i smile and wave

"go on. sit." the other guy bosses around, i guess this is christian..?

"Oh, dont mind him. thats mason."
oh, thats mason? hes way more rude then online..

He's probably one foot taller than me, with his fluffy brunette hair, and tan skin, he stares at me. "Uhhh, hi i guess?" i stare at him. he looks away and replies "yeah yeah." he mutters, as he looks away.

Hmm, what an ass. He moves his hand as i sit in between him and Liana.

"oh, i heard chris couldn't come because his mom said no." mason says, breaking the silence.

"Dang, I guess ill just have to wait to meet him." i could see masons face turning red, why? MAYBE its because of jealousy, ive been there, but why would he be jealous? i just met him.

"Anywayss, ya guys wanna go to the nearby coffee shop?" Liana offered.
"sure, im down for it." mason said as i nodded. "Sure, just wait a sec. my phones buzzing and i needa check how much money i got in my wallet." my hand digs into my bag, as i open my wallet, i see i have $224 dollars. nice!

Now, for my bag. my hand scuffs into my bag as i almost immediately find it. Its snapchat notifications..?

i pause. HOLY FUCKK. "what the fuck.." i whisper. my eyes widen, as im holding tears. mentioning my dead mother? thats too far. curiously, mason looks over to my phone.

"WOAH, WOAH, WHAT THE FUCK." he says, grabbing lianas attention—as if my eyes widening all serious and stuff didnt make her worry about me already—making her lean over aswell staring at minas message. "This bitch."
liana says. "I-its okay..* she continues, as she pats my back. "Some people like that are just difficult, but we dont need to waste our time worrying about them!" she says. At this point i start tearing up and sniffing, but i suck it up. I have to make a good impression.

"Thanks, ellie." i say. As we hop off the ledge, and walk out of the shady area into the sun. "AAH SHIT!!" mason shouts, like hes allergic to the sun. i start giggling. "What're you, a vampire?" i say. Liana starts laughing, as he responds "nah, the fucking sun just flashed in my eyes for the love *COUGH COUGH* LIFE of me." his face turns red. its weird how he straight up looked at me when he said "love," no?

"Anyways, we're finally here!!" ellie yells. "Okay," i say, "Tell me what you want so I can do a mobile order." i demand. "kay, I'll have the ice tea, 2 lemon slices, 20% ice, 10% sugar." mason says. Fuck, for an iced tea that sure is pretty strict. ONLY 10% ICE? nuh uh, im giving him 30% without telling him. "O.M.G. SHUSHHH my turn!" Ellie yells at mason. "I would like a strawberry frappe, with strawberry syrup on top." she says. "K!" Then, i order. I like coffees, it keeps me awake, so i order a hot brew, with extra caramel.

we're all sitting on the school rooftop with our drinks, for some reason they gave us a free water, aswell. Suddenly, masons eyes widen, same with ellies. "Huh? guys, whats going on—" "FUCK. THATS MINA." ellie yell-whispers. "Oh...that..thing?" i ask. "YES. SHES GOING TO FUCKING DEVOUR YOU GET OUT OF HERE!" ellie says as she pushes me away to the other side of the rooftop.

I had a few minutes to observe mina, she has black, long, hair, and blue eyes. she was wearing a white off shoulder top, with black flared tights. im not going to lie, she was super pretty. it made me envious. she looked
at mason, winked and blew a kiss.

this made me mad. fuming, even. i grabbed my inhaler and started breathing slowly, as i was being pulled away to the other side, i could see from the corner of my eye, mason opening the water bottle, dumping it on mina, as she shrieked "EUGHHH! WHATTTUH?"

i giggled, but then my phone rang again, hesitantly picking it up, it turns out it was my dad.

DAD: Come home now. Its 7:00.

Soon, it happened again. I blinked once, and everyone was gone..
