A young woman with dark almost pure black hair threw her head back onto her pillow as she sighed loudly in frustration into the phone that she held against her ear.
"Lydia. You're just going to have to go to the mall without me. I'm not going to be able to make it back home before the back to school sales finish. Hell, I'm still trying to convince my dad to let me finish my schooling at Beacon Hills." Allison complained as she placed her other hand over her eyes as she tried to stop another pre-emptive headache from occurring.
Ever since the beginning of the school holidays Allison has been getting frequent and rather vivid flashes or visions which sometimes result in the teenager getting intense migraines. The onyx haired girl hasn't mentioned these migraines to either her friends or her father as the visions mainly consisted of wolves more than likely Werewolves, magic and violence.
Two out of the three were in constant supply due to the life of her family as Hunters so Allison thought nothing of it. She also knew that her father wanted to get herself and him as far away from the supernatural world as possible and these flashes were practically the opposite of what Chris wanted. Especially if magic was truly involved.

The youngest member of the Argent family was currently in France. Allison's father believed that he and Allison needed some time away from America and in particular Beacon Hills. In order to get away from the terrible tragedies that have happened over the last year.
Allison's introduction into the world of Werewolves and other supernatural creatures was one of the most barbaric and inconsiderate ways possible to be brought into this unknown world. Where all the things that go bump in the night reside and everything else in between.
The main reason why Allison was introduced into this world so violently was because Allison's aunt and Chris' sister, Kate. Kate wished to teach Allison how to be a brutal leader of the Argent Hunters since Allison was the next in line to lead. The Argent Hunters were led by the matriarchy line, meaning only a woman could lead them.
Kate lost her opportunity to become the leader of the Argent Hunters as Chris' wife and Allison's mother, Victoria were the first to produce an heir to continue the bloodline while Kate never married.
Neither Chris or Allison's grandfather, Gerald, were unable to take over the role of leader as it was and still is a matriarchal position.
Allison is the last remaining female Argent in the family so by default the position goes to her when she reaches her majority at 18 years old.

Another reason why Chris had forced Allison away from Beacon Hills was a combination of the many events that occurred in such a short period of time. Kate Argent was both accused of arson and premeditated murder before being killed by a homicidal Alpha Werewolf, Peter Hale.
That same psychotic Alpha had bitten and turned a teenager into a Werewolf, someone who Allison had fallen for immediately when arriving at Beacon Hills. The shaggy haired teen Wolf, Scott McCall, was being hunted by Chris since his first transformation and Scott was struggling to balance dating Allison and learning to control his animalistic side from hurting others.
Then there were Lydia's hypnotic vague states where she would disappear and show up elsewhere, generally right on top of a site where something traumatic, supernatural or something relating to death happened.
Lydia's boyfriend, Jackson turned into a Kanima after a failed Alpha Bite by the newest Beacon Hills Alpha, Derek Hale and killed people on behalf of another classmate, Matt. Matt was a student at Allison's school who was also stalking Allison and taking pictures of her without her knowledge.
Then there was Allison's mother's suicide and her grandfather, Gerald's manipulation.

All of these things happening at once in the span of 5 months was too much for both Allison and Chris to handle without intense therapy. However, according to her father, Argents don't speak to therapists. Something about protecting everyone from the supernatural community even at the expense of themselves.
Once Gerald realised that Allison was speaking to Ms Morrell, the school's guidance counsellor and therapist after Matt's death, her grandfather put an immediate stop to Allison's interactions with Ms Morrell by using his position as principal to dismiss Allison from those sessions.
Honestly all of these things thrown together has Allison questioning her own sanity at this point and whether or not her friends actually wanted her back in Beacon Hills after what her family did to them.
Hunting them.
It still makes her sick to her stomach to this day. Allison wonders why Lydia is even giving her a chance to make it up to brilliant strawberry blonde.
