"GOOOD MORNING!!!!", which is followed by a scream that resembles a chicken, is how our lovely female lead - Adriane - wakes up. Whether at 2am or 2pm is a valid question, but we will skip that.
31st March, 2024
My head hurts as if someone had hammered it. The fan is making its usual noise. I stare at the ceiling for a minute or two, until it kicks to me that I'm awake now. Before i could panic about my day, i reminded myself its sunday! Where's my hubby though...anyways I'll do my washroom business.
Since its sunday, I'm keeping it simple. After washing my face and brushing, I tie my hair with a claw clip and head to the kitchen. Its currently 9:22 A.M. There's some noise coming from the garden. As the tea I'm preparing simmers, I can hear birds chirping their love. Just standing there, hearing the birds while I wait for the tea to boil, is one of my favorite parts of being alive. I put two cups on the wooden tray and head to the back porch where i see Shay washing his hands.
"The tulips have bloomed completely" he said, adding, "I planted the new seeds as well". "That just made my day, I'm a tulip lover forever," I said.
I have grown an attachment to flowers from my second-year of college, when I attended a workshop on adding value to floriculture. Ever since that day, I had wanted to live with flowers, but I wasn't responsible enough to keep them alive. I'm so grateful to Shay, who takes care of all the flowers in our backyard without me even asking.
The tea was so bracing.
"What are your plans for today?", I asked Shay, who in return said he didn't have one, as today he's going with the vibes.
Going with the vibes, lol, i like it. I'll do the same. Let me journal and figure out my vibes for today hahah.
