She was taken aback by his unexpected question, as it was something she had never even considered. "I don't know what I feel for you yet, but I find you extremely adorable," she calmly admitted, while gently caressing his hair into the dark night.

Her words silenced him, and he laid back on her chest, finding solace in her arms, even though he couldn't sleep peacefully, tangled in the complexity of his emotions.

As a new day dawned, he found himself in biology class, seated next to Ridhan at the front desk, recounting the events of the previous night. "She said she doesn't know what she feels for me."

To Ridhan, it seemed she needed time to unravel her own feelings, considering the speed at which everything had unfolded. "It's still new. Give her some time to figure it out, and she'll let you know."

"But I can't shake the feeling that she doesn't feel the same way," he quietly confessed, mindful of the teacher's warnings. "It's your first time, and that's making you overthink. People are different, and we know how she is. She'll be direct with you. Don't worry."

Their conversation once again caught the attention of the teacher, who promptly reminded them of proper classroom behavior by throwing a piece of chalk in their direction. "Are you sitting in a garden, gentlemen?" he boomed, drawing the focus of the entire class to Vihan's embarrassed face and Ridhan's nonchalant demeanor.

As expected, Vihan quickly apologized, the interruption cut short by the ringing bell. "All right, everyone. We'll finish this chapter tomorrow, and I hope there are no more garden talks here," the frustrated teacher declared, his stern gaze lingering on Vihan and Ridhan.

"You missed the class!" Vritti remarked composedly, navigating through the bustling crowd of students after the first class, spotting Leena calmly making her way. "I had to go back to my place to change," Leena explained, falling into step with Vritti as they headed to their next class.

"You did it?" Vritti smirked, noticing the glow on Leena's face. "I knew it. Tell me everything!" Excitement brimming, Vritti stopped before the classroom.

"Come here." Gently pulling Vritti aside, Leena shared the details with her, as girls often do, adding, "He asked me if I like him. But I figured out that I'm just sexually attracted to him." Vritti's face registered astonishment, her tone inadvertently becoming louder. "What? Did he think you like him?"

"I don't know. I never showed him any signs," Leena responded, being cautious of eavesdroppers. "What did you say then?" Vritti, concerned, pressed for details.

Recounting the exact words she had used with Vihan, Leena received an unexpected hit on the shoulder from Vritti. "Are you mad? You shouldn't have given him hope. Now he thinks you're trying to figure out your feelings for him."

"I didn't mean to do that," she replied, rubbing her shoulder, puzzled by Vritti's reaction. She had always been sharp in many things but struggled to read emotions.

"You're seriously clueless," Vritti sighed, feeling defeated by Leena's obliviousness. "You need to clear this misunderstanding. Otherwise, you'll lead him on."

"But I don't think he likes me," Leena said, once again displaying her unawareness. "Are you joking? Did you really not realize he likes you when he asked you that question?"

"He might have just asked it for no reason," Leena answered. "God! Just tell him you don't like him and just want to sleep with him."

"I will when the right time comes," Vritti insisted, rejecting her friend's suggestion and growing tired of educating Leena about emotional matters, but couldn't force her to do something she didn't want.
