The way to the bookstore was not very long, Ryujin decided to take the shortest path, while Yeji was behind her, admiring everything she saw.

It had been a good morning since she had opened her eyes, but soon things were going to change a little.

Arriving after several minutes, Ryujin parked the bike at the back of the place, which was not very big. She saw Heejin's car parked there and knew that she was at least, a few minutes late.

As Yeji took off the helmet and her ears were visible again, Ryujin took it from her hand, placed it on top of the bike and then walked over to her to adjust the hood over her head and ears.

"Why can't I just show my ears?" Yeji asked her, as she looked at her.

Finally, Ryujin finished placing that cloth above her head and then looked into Yeji's eyes.

"Because that could be dangerous for you, Yeji."

At that moment, Ryujin realized how close they were and the way Yeji's small cat eyes were shining. Thinking that they looked as innocent as a small pet that admired to its master, but what Yeji felt now was much more than that.

"But-"

Their little moment was interrupted by a voice heard from the door.

"Ryujin?"

Heejin walked towards her, but her smile soon dissapeared, looking confused at Yeji, who immediately rushed towards Ryujin and hugged her, the same way Ryujin had done with her the day before.

It was an impulse, Yeji didn't know what she was doing, but she definitely agreed that the same way she had felt, that girl must feel.

The unwanted girl she remembers, since she was a cat.

Heejin stopped her steps slowly, frowning at them, while Ryujin tried to push Yeji away from her body, since that movement had taken her by surprise.

"Yeji, calm down. It's just-" She whispered in her ear, but Yeji immediately interrupted her.

"I know who she is."

Ryujin gulped, feeling Yeji's tone of voice in her ear and then cleared her throat, as she gently moved the cat girl's arms away from her neck.

"Hey."

She said once she turned around to see Heejin, who in addition to being her coworker, was the daughter of the owner of the place, who was staring at her, after looking at Yeji.

"I... I didn't know you had... Company." Heejin said, looking clearly disappointed, while Yeji held Ryujin's arm, like she usually did.

"Hmm this is- This is Yeji. A friend who came from Brazil."

Oh really? Brazil?

Ryujin felt very uncomfortable, but she faked a smile, while Heejin nodded seeming surprised, her expression changed, upon hearing the 'friend' word, everything seemed to get better for her.

"Ohhh it's my pleasure, Yeji. I'm Heejin!" The brunette extended her arm towards Yeji, but the cat girl only looked at her hand for a few seconds and then looked back into her eyes, without saying a word.

"I'm sorry, Jin. Her customs are completely different." Ryujin apologized, feeling Yeji's nails starting to dig into her jacket again.

This time she was thankful she had the leather one on.

"Oh, I'm sorry." The brunette said smiling and turned her gaze to Ryujin. "Do you feel better to work?"

"Of course."
