Little House In The Tree

    "Hi this is Abby, leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible," Maxine looks at her friend Lilly with a worried look on her face.

     "I don't know what to do anymore, nobody has seen or heard from her in two weeks," Lilly exclaimed. "What if something seriously bad happened to her! " She starts sobbing.

     "How about this, once everyone is asleep, we'll go out looking for her for at least two to three hours and make sure we're back before anyone wakes up," Maxine replied.

    Three hours later, "Maxine! Maxine, wake up! They are asleep. Let's get ready to go," Lilly whispered.

    They start to put their shoes and coats on and grab their bags with flashlights and chips. slowly opening the creaky door and walking out. They continue to walk for about 35 minutes, as they start to hear a faint whisper above them. Maxine looks up and all she sees is a small house that looks about a hundred years old just hanging from a tree. 

    "Hello? Is somebody there?" Lilly asked with a quiet voice.

     "Really, do you really think it's the best idea to let people know were here? No, I didn't think so," Maxine replied.

    They start to walk off of the road into the forest braking sticks on the ground with each step they take. Trying to ignore the none stop whispering not because they were scared, but because they could not understand it.  They look around the tree that the small house is hanging from trying to find some sort of stare case or ladder, all they see is a rope and some holes in the tree, but they didn't worry and tried to pull them self's up. Using the holes in the tree as foot slots they pushed each other up. 

    "Ow!" Lilly shouted from the tree house.

    "What? What happened?" Maxine asked with a confused tone in her voice.

    "I scraped my leg trying to get into the house," Lilly replied.

    Lilly helps Maxine into the house and as they both get in; they start to search around looking for any clues or something to tell them where Abby could be. Maxine looks around and sees a small Jewlery box on the bed she opens it up and all she sees is Abby's friendship necklace that they made when they were kids.  She picks the Jewlery box up with the necklace inside and realizes there is a note sitting on the bed.

    "Lilly come look, I think I found something!" Maxine shouts with a scared voice.
