Sitting at (Diner's name) were you sweating nervously waiting for your date because of your friend, Bryce warning you how your date could be dangerous.

"I'm telling you (Name) they could murder you out of nowhere watch your back," Bryce warned pointing a finger at you while you sighed in annoyance turning to him.

"Bryce don't you think I'm worried enough?! I already got this diner playing this shitty-ass 90s music and my date is late please stop!" (Name) whispered and yelled at him then their date was here.

They sat down across from smiling and reaching out their hand "Hey sorry I'm late I'm (Date's Name) as you already know," They chuckled as you did the same shaking their hand.

While you were fine with them being late Byrce saw this as nothing more than a vacuous thing to do, especially toward you "What? Couldn't get out of bed on time?" Bryce scoffed looking away from your (significant name).

You awkwardly laughed before whispering to Bryce making sure your (significant other) didn't hear your conversation "Bryce! Don't make me drag you outside," You threatened talking to him like he was some kid.

Bryce just let out a breath of air before looking away from the both of you then you turned to your date smiling but secretly panicking inside "Sorry let's move on shall we?" You asked your date and they nodded.

As the date continued Bryce kept glaring at your (significant other) and when they stared back he got so offensive that when your date left to go to the bathroom he kept telling you how bad they were despite not doing anything wrong you always have to apologize for him but luckily your (significant other) doesn't mind.

Then you three went to the park Bryce stayed far away from your date and if you wanted to buy something he always insisted on paying no matter what and tried to show you how he would be better than your current date but he failed.

After that disaster finally ended you drove Bryce home while he was looking outside the window while you were still mad at him for his behavior on the date "Really Bryce? Was all of that necessary?" You inquired.

Bryce stopped looking outside and stared at you like he didn't do anything wrong "What are you talking about?! I didn't do anything unnecessary," He argued while you tried to keep your cool so you wouldn't be in a car accident.

"I'm sorry do you suffer from short-term memory loss?! You kept warning me how "dangerous" my (Significant other) was, kept being rude to them, staring at them like they murdered somebody, avoiding them as much as possible, and every time they wanted me something you always insisted on paying!" You yelled.

Bryce scoffed and rolled his eyes "If it wasn't for me you probably have been buried under 6ft!" He yelled back luckily you reached his apartment right on time before you could knock him out.

"Get the hell out of my car right now!" You shouted Bryce was hurt but left without saying a word but he back to you with an apologetic smile "So umm we're on for our weekly movie night?" He asked.

You side-eyed him and flipped him off before quickly vacating him like he was some sort of disease he had a feeling you wouldn't want to see him again which made him upset.

For the next few months, he was alone without you he felt like his life was nothing with you, and now he drinking coffee while watching the news when he heard his phone ring he slowly looked at it until he saw YOU called him.

He quickly picked it up his heart shattered when he heard you crying and sobbing "Bryce come to my house/apartment quick it's an emergency please!" You begged Bryce did not waste any time coming to your house/apartment.

When Bryce came he saw you crying and hugging yourself on the couch he quickly sat next to you rubbing your back in circles "Shh, what's wrong?" He asked whispering worried for you you sniffed before answering.

"My (significant other) died last night! Someone shot him for no reason!" You shouted turning on the TV and showing the news about your (significant other) as you cried harder into Bryce's body but Bryce's was feeling something different...dark.

He looked mad that they were dead but on the inside, he was actually happy! He was sad that you were crying but happy because this might bring you both closer than you both are.

Maybe if he holds you tightly you might not wanna let go of him if he tells you how worth it you are you'll stay, and if you both get close and try to make you forget about your dead ex you'll love him as he loves you you deserve better than your ex anyway who knows what they'll do to you if they were still alive. 

It might seem fucked up to others but to him, it was the best.
