Devan Williams started out as your average teenage girl. She started high school with good friends, a good relationship with her mom, and a position on the color guard team. She had a crush on her best guy friend and she thought he liked her back, but it turns out that she was wrong.
As her freshman year progressed, things got harder. Her friends weren't really her friends, she got into big fights with her mom, and her best guy friend turned who she thought was her knight in shining armor turned out to be a loser in tin foil.
Not exactly what she expected.
But then her and a couple of her best friends go to a Pierce The Veil concert and she finally meets the man she's been swooning over, Jaime Preciado. He's everything she thought he would be, and they end up becoming really close. They quickly fall for each other, but they have no chance of dating because Devan is so young, so they stay best friends all through Devan's high school career.
Now that she's graduated, what kind of turn will her relationship with Jaime take?
