<Old friends-pt.4>

You got so overwhelmed with the dream that at first you didn't even notice you weren't in your cave.You finally noticed after a hot second.You started panicking. How did you get in a middle of a forest?Were you alone?

Its quiet and foggy.You don't sense anyone so you get up from your sleeping position.

,,What....?"

W-Who just said that!? You try to hear another noise coming from the mysterious person but..nothing.

You look around trying to recognise something to bring you back to when you were.

Nothing.

,,...Hello?" you say thinking of the mysterious person

Nothing yet again.

You start walking. If you keep in place some animal would probably sniff you out.While walking you look up trying to place what time it is. Its dark but you fell well rested.

You stop suddenly realising how thirsty you are. You rummage in your pockets. A chocolate bar. It can't really help so you put it back and start walking again.

*yawn*

Hm? Why do you feel sleepy all of a sudden?You were all energetic a while ago. Weird. Could someone be doing this to you? Or its just this place...

You keep walking and walking. Feels like you've walked for hours but there is no sign of the sun returning. You search your pockets again kinda like you checked on the fridge again hoping something would appear back when you were at home. This time you actually find something new. An amulet. You don't recognise it but it feels kind of familiar. In a shape of a cat or a fox... Something in between that. It has a gold chain and a gold outline.Pretty.

You stop feeling a sudden presence. But not of a person. You look in front of you and see the fog getting thicker and the trees disappearing further down. Instead of going inside you decide to go right following the wall of thick fog. Its not like you have a brain of a horror movie victim. No dying for you. You laugh at your own joke. Maybe you've been alone a bit too long.

You stare at the amulet again. For some reason you expected it to glow. You inspect it again looking to have something to do while walking for what feels like forever. You see that the cat-fox has a dark red-ish colour and brighter red eyes. You realise why it seemed so familiar. The cat-fox was the god of a town that was near your town. And it ,,was" because the town was destroyed by nearby treasure horders who thought there was a fortune under the city.

With being so engrossed with your thoughts you fell down as you and your head meet a tree.

,,Ughhh..."

You rub your head from the impact before starting to search for the amulet you dropped. You find it and get up. You really should have paid more attention.

You move out the way of the tree, annoyed at yourself. You stop as you see something or someone in the corner of your eye. You feel you tail wrap around your leg out of fear. You thought you were alone but it seems that someone was here with you. You start running , scared.

After a while you run out of breath and stop. You slowly look around. Nothing.

You feel relieve wash over you and sit on the wet grass leaning against a tree. You feel your head pounding . As you slowly calm down you realise just how tired are you. You look up . Still the same black sky. In you exhausted state your eyes start close and you fall into a deep sleep.

...

You see a beautiful village similar to the one you live in. You joke around with your neighbours and engage in conversation at the farmer market. You walk in the flea market seeing a familiar face.

,,Oh hello. Its you again. Looking for an another book?" The lady asks
,,Is there an another volume for-„ You say bit get cut off
,,You liked the book? Finally someone with taste. Here have this. Its not the next part but its either volume 3 or 4"
,,Thank you so much! How much do i owe"
,,You don't owe anything. I OWE you."

...

You grumble as you feel the sun on your eyes. Your stomach aching for food. You get up and ub you eyes . You feel soaked and gross.Not a good idea sleeping on wet grass...You ignore the pain and get up.

,,Why.....ughhhhhh"

Its like a light bulb appears on your head as you quickly search your pocket taking out the chocolate bar and eating it immediately. You look like a baby eating it but with the situation your in you don't care. You put the wrapper in your pocket and with a sigh you keep walking.

And walking..

And walking....

And walking-

You see it . Your cave! Your so relived you just run into it and plop on the ground.

,,Finally...."

After a while you finally get up. You bring out some clothes you hid in your cave .You honestly forgot about them. You left them there after getting caught up in the rain but at least it came in clutch.

You went to a hidden hot spring that you always went to before...this.... happened. Good thing you did tell anyone about it. You wash off and put on the clothes. Seems like good pick since your tail has free room to move.

You walk back to your cave and plop down on your bean bag feeling the pain in your legs from walking the whole way here.

While your here you could finish the book.You look around and reach for it looking for the page you were on and you started reading:

,,Ughhhhhhhhh......Gosh." (y/n) groans after yet again being teleported back down after trying to jump out of the curse forest
,,Damn it! Get me out of here!!" She whines. ,,Need some help?" Asks Wukong who appeared behind her ,,Wukongggg!! Finally someone! Helppppp i can't get outtttttt" Said (y/n) acting like a kid with one of her closest friends ,,Well maybe because your in my forest?" ,,... oh. i forgot. Well since your here how about i beat you up again?" ,,Not this time!"
