In the early '90s, there was a detective in a town where there were great crimes at the time. He was an undercover agent, more like a spy. Despite being a detective, he lived like a normal construction worker in his neighborhood. He was kind to all and helped everyone and the police to deal with the crimes. One day, he received a case from a family reporting sightings of blood near their houses and seeing people in the woods near their house. As the case was strange, the detective accepted it and went there for some investigation. He asked the person who filed the case about where they saw the blood.
The person led him to the places where he had seen the blood marks. It was near an open route with no houses or shops nearby. The place was very strange and quiet. The detective started searching for more clues near the blood marks but found nothing. Then, he saw a person from the side of a tree near an old hut, which was opposite to the house of the person who filed the case. The person explained that it was the house of an old man who had lived there before they came, but he had died due to old age. The detective decided to stop there and look for more clues. He asked the person if there was any dog or security near their house guarding it, as it looked like an ancestral palace with some rare items in it.

The person explained that there used to be a security guard at the front, but he had left his job due to some health issues. Upon hearing this, the detective expressed concern that unauthorized individuals might be entering the house. He then asked the person where they had seen the man in the woods. The person led the detective towards a room in their palace-like house, which was near the woods. From the room, the detective could see the woods and insisted on going there for further investigation. However, the person hesitated, citing the presence of wild animals in the area. Despite the warning, the detective insisted on taking a look and assured the person that he would be careful. Reluctantly, the person agreed to accompany the detective to the woods. Upon reaching the woods, they came across a large banyan tree, where the person claimed to have seen the man at night.

Upon seeing the tree, the detective speculated that wild animals might frequent the area, possibly explaining the person's mistaken sightings. He considered the possibility that an animal's presence could have been misconstrued as a man by someone observing from the room. However, the person, visibly tense, insisted that they were certain about seeing both a man and an animal.Acknowledging the person's conviction, the detective reassured them and promised to send guards to protect the area until a security arrangement could be made. True to his word, the detective dispatched guards to the location near the person's house. However, when the guards returned, they reported finding only overgrown grass and trees, with no sign of a house.Suspecting a misunderstanding, the detective concluded that the guards may have gone to the wrong location. Determined to investigate further, he returned to the site with the guards in the evening. Despite the guards' apprehension about staying the night due to the eerie silence and the potential threat of nocturnal animal activity, they remained resolute in their duty.

During the night, while the guards were keeping watch over the surroundings for any mysterious activity, a loud shout erupted from the house, specifically from the room of the person's daughter. Startled, the guards rushed to the source of the commotion. Upon questioning her about the shout, she recounted seeing a terrifying figure near her window, attempting to approach her. Some of the guards ventured outside to investigate, but they found no sign of anyone nearby.The next day, the guards reported the previous night's incident to the detective and expressed a desire to question the workers who were present on the premises during the night. The workers mentioned that a few days prior, a friend of theirs who did not work at the location but had come to drop them off had gone missing. Upon hearing this, the detective directed his attention to the person and inquired if they were aware of this development. The person denied any knowledge of the missing individual.Pressing further, the detective asked the workers if anyone had filed a report regarding the missing person. They confirmed that their family had indeed filed a report, but the search efforts were ongoing.

The detective swung by the spot where they reported the missing person and dug up some details about him. Couldn't shake off the nagging question of why that dude in the woods went after the girl. Time kept ticking, and darkness crept in once more. So, the detective thought, "Why not set up some cameras to catch any shady business?".Just like the night before, the guards clocked in for their watch. One of them caught wind of whispers drifting from the woods and went off to snoop around. Another guard hollered, asking what the heck he was up to. Lucky break, though - nothing happened that night.Next day, the detective pulled up the footage from the cams and spotted one of his guys sneaking into the woods. Quick call later, he's grilling the guy about his midnight stroll. Guard spilled the beans about what went down, and the detective sent him packing. Then he decided to play it low-key and keep an eye on the woods himself, no need to tip off anyone.
