Chapter 19: findings of elliana's new job

Jules pov: So after our swim up to Mako me and the girls met back up with Jentzen at the beach, we were all so proud of elliana for overcoming her fears of the water it was a really big deal for her. So we decided to celebrate with a juice before we all had to go home for dinner, so that's what we did. The next morning me and Jentzen went out on his boat but really it was just jentzen in the boat as he just wanted to relax and read his magazine, typical boys am I right?They were so predictable.
Jentzen's pov: Just relaxing on the boat, reading my magazine, enjoying the peace and quiet, when I heard jules phone ring. So I answered the phone call and it was Elliana.
Jentzen on the phone: Hello?
Elliana on the phone: Hey Jentzen, is Jules there?
Jentzen on the call: Yes, she's here just give me one second?
Jentzen: Jules, it's for you.
Jules pov: Swims back up to the boat, and grabs my phone of Jentzen.
Jules on the call: Hey el.
Elliana on the call: So have you decided on what time the party will be at tonight?
Jules: No cause i don't think we should be having one.
Elliana on the call: Jules!, this is literally one of our biggest transitions that we are talking about.
Jules on the call: Yes, Ellie I know but…I just don't see how we can have it this year, since our recent developments as everything has changed alot since last year.
Elliana on the call: We can't let it stop us though, that's why I took on a new job.
Jules on the call: You have a new job! Where is that exactly?
Elliana on the call: At the dolphin tank in the marine park.
Jules on the call: Say what now, you're working at the dolphin tank, in the marine park.
Jentzen: the what?
Jules on the call: Are you crazy, the tank is full of water.
Elliana on the call: Yes, I know it's filled with water jules, they're Aquatic Mammals.
Jules in the call: You do realise what happens when you touch water, right?
Elliana on the call: Yes, Jules, I do know what water does to me. But, I am not gonna let that stop me and ruin my life, it can't control us forever. Look, Jules, I really wanna make this work.
Elliana's pov: But that's when my manager walks in.
Miss carson: Elliana!
Elliana on the call: Look, Jules I will have to call you back. I've gotta go.
Elliana's pov: Hangs up the phone, and puts it down on the table. So I can finish moving the fish into the buckets, which is what I do. Then I put on a hair net to protect myself from getting wet.
Miss Carson: Elliana, are you okay?
Elliana: Yup, i'm ready when you are.
Elliana's pov: Follows behind Miss Carson, carrying the buckets of fish.

{meanwhile while back on the ocean with Jules and Jentzen}
Jules pov: hands my phone back to Jentzen in the boat.
Jules: Ellie, can literally be sooo stubborn sometimes.
Jentzen: Yeah maybe, but i think she just wants a cent of purpose.
Jules: Yeah, I guess so. Also do you really think that magazine is going to tell us something useful?
Jentzen: from what i've read so far, it's told me that you guys are way hotter than the average mermaid, and they certainly don't have really cool water powers.
Jules: To be honest I really don't think that will help. So I think we should head over to mako, cause that might be the only place where we will be able to find most of the answers, to how we actually became mermaids.
Jules and Jentzen pov: We both look at mako island.
Jules: As that's where it happened. So surely that's where the answers will be.
Jentzen: Well, alright then let's do it. I'll just pull in my line, and we'll head off.
Jules: No, not you jentzen. As it will be way faster on my own.
Jentzen: Are you really sure that's a good idea?...
Jules pov: swims off before he could finish his sentence, and heads to mako.
{meanwhile back at the marine park}
Elliana's pov: walks out of the back with two buckets of fish for the dolphins. And starts feeding them.
