Dokyeom had been chatting with Joshua for nearly two months, and their connection had grown stronger with every conversation. They had shared their dreams, favorite movies, and even the mundane details of their daily lives, but they had never seen each other. That is, until one crisp autumn evening, they finally decided to exchange photos.

The moment Dokyeom received Joshua's picture, his heart skipped a beat. The image on the screen was more than he could have ever imagined. Joshua's smile was radiant, reaching his warm, inviting eyes that seemed to sparkle with a mix of mischief and kindness. Dokyeom felt a surge of affection, a lovestruck awe that made him pause and take a deep breath. He was mesmerized, not just by the physical appearance but by the realization that this person had become an essential part of his life.

Three days had passed since Dokyeom first laid eyes on Joshua's picture, and the image was still vivid in his mind. It lingered there, a constant presence that seemed to grow more potent with each passing moment. Despite their conversations carrying on as usual, with the same friendly banter and shared stories, Dokyeom found himself distracted.

He would be in the middle of work when Joshua's smile would flash across his mind's eye, causing him to pause and lose his train of thought. Or he'd be sipping his morning coffee, staring out the window, and finding himself wondering what Joshua was doing at that exact moment.

The effect was undeniable. Dokyeom felt a warmth that spread through him whenever he thought of Joshua, a sense of comfort and excitement intertwined. It was as if Joshua's picture had unlocked a new level of their connection, adding a depth to their relationship that words alone hadn't conveyed.

Each time he glanced at his phone and saw the notification of a new message from Joshua, the image would flash in his mind, and he'd be struck all over again by the sheer presence Joshua exuded in his photo.

It wasn't about romantic feelings; it was about the admiration for someone who seemed so genuine, so vibrant, even through the digital ether. Dokyeom found himself smiling at odd moments, the image of Joshua's beaming face popping into his head, leaving him with a sense of wonder.

Dokyeom was impressed by how someone he had never met in person could project such energy and life through a simple photograph. It was as if Joshua's personality was so strong it transcended the physical barriers between them.

This feeling of awe didn't disrupt their conversations or change the dynamic they had established. If anything, it added a layer of respect and admiration on Dokyeom's side. He felt privileged to be in contact with someone who could convey so much joy and authenticity through a picture.

Dokyeom's sense of awe remained a silent companion, a testament to the unexpected impact a single moment captured in time could have on another person, miles away.

Dokyeom POV:

"Kyeomie, if your toast would have been alive then it sure would have been dead by now by how many times you  have stabbed it with your fork."

"Sorry Mom" I replied blushing when I realized that I was overthinking once again. A typical INFP characteristic.

"Why so lost?" My mom intrigued me.

"Just thinking about someone," I answered, chewing on my toast.

"Mind telling me who?" She nonchalantly asked while eating her beans. I hate beans.
