Axel grips the bathroom counter, his eyes full of tears as the pain fills his head and the creature grins at him.

"You will be in danger. You need to stay away from J-" The creature couldn't finish as Axel throws his fist forward and shatters the mirror, blood soaking his knuckles but he simply grabs some paper towels and wraps it around his knuckles.

"I can look out for myself." He hisses before turning around to see Jasper staring at him in shock

"You didn't see anything." Axel whispers before going to walk past the blonde only for the blonde to touch his shoulder, the brunette yanking his shoulder away as soon as he felt the coldness of his touch

"I know your not human but I personally don't give a actual fuck what you are but don't act like you have sympathy for me. My mother does that enough and I don't want that at this school." Axel says and unknown to him, his eyes were a dark purple but Jasper saw it and it shocked him to no end.

"I won't give you any sympathy but the least you can do is let me fix your hand." Jasper says, his voice soft and when Axel removed the paper towels, Jasper inhaled sharply, eyes darkening but instead of acting on his primal instincts, he wets a paper towel and taps Axel's wounds, the brunette hissing but he eventually calms down as a sudden wave of calm overcomes him, causing him to raise a brow at Jasper who simply shakes his head.

"Thank you cowboy." Axel says causing Jasper to tense, eyes widening as he realizes that Axel might have somehow found out.

"Why are you calling me cowboy?" He asks and Axel just laughs, throwing his head back exposing his neck that Jasper had the urge to bite. He could see his veins pulsating and he wanted to taste the blood that it withheld.

"Because you have a southern accent that sounds more mature than your age." Axel admits and it makes Jasper chuckle instead of be scared. He knew that if Axel found out, he'd end up running away but he had yet to. So he decided to play along.

"Maybe I am."
