  Jade-
Kirishima and I looked at each other. "What are you doing here? I told you to run you idiot." I said, tearing up.
"I did, we did, but we need to save everyone. We have a plan." Kirishima whispered.
  "We?" I asked.
"Shoto's here too, he's working on finding a way to disable the fog with Sero and Yo. We're gonna get you guys out of here." Kirishima said.
I looked over him and teared up. "What?" Kirishima asked.
I smiled. "God I wanna punch you and hug you and yell at you and talk to you all at once right now!" I exclaimed.
Kirishima laughed. "You can do that when we get out of here." He said, smiling at me, and I smiled back at him.

                         ~3 Months Later~

  Hanta-
I was looking at the board, holding the marker. "It's a closed system, so at least we know the fog comes from the inside and acts as a veil anytime someone isn't going into or out of the ship." I said.
Yo was tossing a tennis ball against the wall and floor back to himself. "Yeah, but that doesn't put us any closer to finding out how to stop the fog." Yo said.
"Can you guys hear me ok?" Shoto asked.
"Yeah, how is it going with the fog?" I asked.
"Not good, but I get to go to the holding lab today, they trust me." Shoto said.
"You gonna kiss Jade?" Yo joked, and I playfully shoved him.
Yo laughed. "Shut up!" Shoto shouted, through gritted teeth.
I smiled. "You're totally blushing right now, right Xia?" I asked.
"Oh he's blushing bright red." Xia said.
"You're not helping!" Shoto said, through gritted teeth.
Xia and I laughed, and Yo toppled over dying of laughter.

  Shoto-
I covered my face as we headed to the holding lab.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Kirishima screamed out, and I clenched my fists.
"You can't get mad." Xia said.
"How can I not?" I asked.
"You want to join them?" Xia asked.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Kirishima screamed out again.
I clenched my fist again. "No." I said.
Xia opened the door. "Xia...what's going on here?" The man asked, holding the drill.
Kirishima was strapped to the table and looked like shit. "He's had enough, change your person." Xia said.
"Fine, wanna do the honors?" He asked me.
I nodded and walked over to Kirishima. I unstrapped him from the table. "You're working with them now?" Kirishima asked, weakly.
"I'm still working on the plan." I said.
"What's taking so long?" The man asked.
Kirishima began to resist and I punched his gut. "Oof!" Kirishima yelled out, crouching down.
"No!" Jade shouted.
"I'm sorry." I said, chaining him back up to the hook as I slipped a note into his pocket.
"Has Barbra given us the clear to start on her again?" The man asked.
"She has." Barbra said, walking in. "Like I said, you keep her alive and there won't be any issues." Barbra said, as Jade breathed heavily.
"No! No! She's had enough!" Jax shouted.
"You've all had enough. Your death toll is up to 10 now." Barbra said.
I gasped. 10 people? "Start her again, and then go down the line." Barbra said.
They walked to Jade. "NO! NO!!" Bri shouted, as Bakugo and Tetsu fought to escape.
Jade kicked and thrashed, and then they electrocuted her. She screamed out, and I wanted to swing. Xia took my hand tightly and shook her head.
They strapped Jade down to the table. "Almost dry, right?" The man with the drill asked.
"Yeah." Barbra said.
He smirked and pushed the drill into her left side.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Jade screamed out, flailing as the drilled into her.
I began to shake, and Xia pulled me out of there before I did something stupid.
"You can't! You can't do that or you will be in there." Xia said.
"Was that Jade and Kirishima?" Hanta asked.
"Yeah, it was them." I said.
"You gotta get that fog Shoto." Yo said.
"I'm working on it." I said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Jade's scream rang out, as we walked away from the lab.
I clenched my fist, more determined than ever.

Jade-
They almost bled me dry, but once they got to the stopping point they chained me back up to the hook. "Jade! Jade look at me." Kirishima said.
I panted looking at him, in tears and pale and sickly as hell. They grabbed my mom and strapped her onto the table.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Mom screamed out, as they began to drill.
They went around the whole room, extracting the marrow.

Shoto-
Another month passed and we finally got into their system. "This is it." I said.
"The fog that's deadly to The Ark survivors." Xia said, and we smiled at each other.
"Hanta, I just found the fog source and I know the code and the chemical formula." I said.
"Thank God." Hanta said.
"We're gonna start working on the counter formula, shouldn't take me long. Maybe a week or so." Hanta said.
"Make it quick." I said.
"Yep." Hanta said.
"It's night now, you should be able to slip in to see them." Xia said.
I nodded as we headed to the holding lab.

Jade-
I panted heavily, my consciousness fading in and out. "I can't keep this up Kirishima." I whispered, sniffling.
"I know." Kirishima whispered, sniffling.
I looked at Kirishima and he looked at me. "Shoto told me what happened because I shot you. I'm so sorry Jade, I didn't want to shoot you. I just wanted to get you the vials and protect you for once. I didn't mean for that to happen to you. I'm...so sorry." Kirishima said, tearing up.
I cried, laughing. "You're an idiot. You could have just asked for help!" I said.
"I know, I know. I fucked up and now you—" Kirishima began, crying "you're like this." Kirishima said.
I cried, breathing out. "I wanna cry and hug you." I said.
"Me too." Kirishima said, laughing and crying.
I laughed, crying. The door opened and we all turned. "I'll buy you five minutes." Xia said, and Kirishima and I looked at each other.
"Thank you." Shoto said, and he ran directly to me, and held my cheek. "Hey...hey..." Shoto began, and I looked at him, sickly and pale as he held my cheeks and brushed my hair from my face.
I smiled and closed my eyes, leaning into his hands.
"Shoto, you need to find some way to get her out of here." Dad said.
"No dad...I can't just leave." I said.
"Sweetie, once they get all that they need Barbra will hold you here." Mom said.
"Mom...I can't." I cried.
"You gotta hang in there for one more week. Hanta has the fog's formula now. Once we take out the fog, we will be back for you. I promise." Shoto said.
I nodded, and Shoto pushed his forehead into mine, kissing it. "I'll be back, I promise." Shoto said.
"Shoto! Move!" Xia shouted, and they left.
"You don't have another week in you, Jade." Mom said.
"He doesn't need to worry about that." I said.
Kirishima and I exchanged looks, we knew none of us had a week left in us.

Shoto-
"I'm gonna head back to my people so I can lead us here. We'll come back, free everyone, and then you can leave with us." I said.
"Yeah, hurry, go." Xia said, opening the door and turning off the fog.
"Xia? Thank you." I said, and she smiled.
"Go." She said, and I smiled and nodded.
I ran back to the costal region.
