You left me with these broken lies, and I let you.

Willow sighed, listening to her mom talk on the phone, trying to convince her boss not to fire her. Really, it was no use. It was painfully noticeable how much Julie, Willow's mom, missed work; and the little amount she did when she was there anyway was pretty ridiculous. Willow didn't understand why her mom acted like she cared so much. If she cared, she wouldn't go out drinking almost every night. She'd work harder to earn money to eat, or wash herself once in awhile so Willow could go out with her and not be embarrassed. Or, at least, that's what Willow thought.

Willow jumped when her phone went off. It blasted 'Bulletproof Love,' making her smile a tiny bit. She knew it was Bree calling, and Willow didn't want her to hear her mom, so she ran down the hallway towards her bedroom.

"Heeeyyyy." Willow greeted Bree, finally picking up.

"OH MY GOD WILLOOOWWWW!" She heard, pulling the phone back from her ear.

"Bree! What's wrong?! Are you dying?!" Willow yelled. Bree was practically hyperventilating on the other line.

"No, I'm fine. BUT WILLOW! YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND! YOU HAVE TO COME OVER, RIIIIGGGHHT NOOOWWWW!"

"BREE! CALM DOWN! What is your problem?! I can't come over right this second!"

"Why nooottt? You know what, I'll just come over there! YOU'RE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS!" And Bree hung up.

Willow was pretty confused, and a little nervous. What could be so life altering that Bree could actually get up and come over? But, sure enough, a few minutes later, the door bell rang and Julie yelled for Willow to get it. She got up and rushed to the door, swinging it open to reveal Bree jumping up and down, freaking out. Willow raised her eyebrows, grabbed her wrist, and started yanking her back to her room. On the way, Bree waved at Julie, getting nothing in response. But she didn't really care, she was used to it.

When they got to the room, Willow sat on her bed, and let Bree blow off steam for a few seconds. Eventually the suspense become maddening.

"Ok, Bree, what the heck is going on?" She asked. Whatever it was, it was obviously good news, because Bree had the biggest grin on her face, and was giggling like an idiot.

Bree started babbling. "Well, I entered this contest online, and of course, I didn't think I was going to win, but it was worth the shot, I mean, I only had to put in my email, so it wasnt that bad, and I figured that it'd be cool if I won, so I entered it-" Bree said extremely fast, until Willow cut her off.

"Come on, Bree, you're killin me!" Willow begged. Bree froze in her spot, and grinned at Willow. It sort of freaked her out a little.

"WE'RE GOING TO A FREAKIN BLACK VEIL BRIDES CONCERT!" She screamed. It took a moment for what she said to sink into Willow's mind. But, of course, when it did, they had a pretty long and ridiculous fangirl session.

When they finally settled down, or at least to the point that they could communicate other than squeals and flailing, they sat on the bed next to each other. It was silent for  moment.

"Waaaiiit." Willow frowned. "Who's going to take us? I have a license, but not a car. That's might be a problem."

Bree frowned too. "Well...we can't walk. It's in the next city over." She face-palmed. "I was so excited, I didn't even think about that. Dangiiit!"

Willow sighed. "We're gonna have t take the bus. Not that big of a deal."

Bree nodded. "Ok. Whatever it takes." She grinned at Willow. "This is going to be the best thing ever."

Willow laughed, super pumped and excited. "I totally agree. But you've gotta get going. I'm sure nobody even knows you left, am I right?"

Bree smiled sheepishly, and Willow chuckled. They hugged goodbye, saying they loved each other and that they couldn't wait for the concert. It was only about a week away, and Willow already couldn't wait. She ended up staying awake most of the night, mostly just laying in her bed, fantasizing about exactly how she wanted the concert to go. Eventually she did fall asleep, with a smile on her face that only a few people could cause. Willow was going to see her saviors, and she didn't know how she was going to make it through the days before fnally seeing them.
