Poison fruits

Akari pov;

"So, you were from tanbarun huh?"
Zen asks as shirayuki ties her ribbon in her hand.

"The person who sent you this came all the way to the border to get you two, you know."

"Jajaja right."
I fake trying to alleviate the situation.

"Was this matter so serious you both had to run across the border?"
He questions, clearly mad he isn't getting answers.

"Its because of the person it is" mutters Shirayuki trying to avoid Zens gaze.
"Hmm, it was the first prince of tanbarun."
I speak annoyed while laying my head back

"Raj?!
That...idiot...prince...!"
He manages to say clearly in pain after clapping his hurt arm into the table infront of us.

"He's such a huge idiot that rumors even spread to the neighboring countries."
Says shirayuki, making me a bit ashamed because I'm the one who could never shut up about how bad a ruler he was or is actually.

"So that's it huh, he probably had people look over all the border crossing records."
Informs Zen, wonder how he got to that conclusion,

"He would go that far huh?"
Says Shirayuki

"If there's something he wants he probably just counts it as his own already."
Speaks Zen, almost as if he new him...

"Even if it means caging it? No way, right...?"
Shirayuki says while looking at the window to her side.
Meanwhile I turn to grab an apple from the basket for shirayuki and a few berries for me.
I look at the apple Shirayuki was holding,
A part of it has gotten bad, same as the berries on my hand I grab one and analyze it,
"Even these reds are already going bad...."
"Huh, just kidding..."
I corrected realizing what I just said

Zen stands up from the chair he was in and starts walking to my direction,
He grabs my hand and eats the berry from my fingers as if nothing,
"Zen...?" I whisper

"You're so impolite." A voice sounds from in front of us.

"Don't do that, you should get one yourself."
Says Mitsuhide while laying his face in his hand.
"What're ya-"
Mutters Zen before choking

"You should either talk of eat. Don't do both." Scolded Mitsuhide

"I didn't call you. Stay out of it!"
Fought Zen as he choked
"Man, that hurts." Acted mitsuhide as if he was hurt.

"Zen..."
I decide to speak,
He turns around annoyed
"I said something stupid, sorry."
I continue looking over to shirayuki smiling reassuringly at me.

"Akari, you shouldn't eat those berries or the apples probably."
He declared serious.
"Kiki...Mitsuhide...don't get mad..."
He finishes as he starts stumbling onto the floor.

I realize and I hurry to catch him, Kiki and Mitsuhide hurry by his side, I turn to look at shirayuki she figured something.

"Its poisoned!" She informed

"Do you have an antidote?!" Worries Kiki,
I pass Zen over to Mitsuhide to look over through my bag as Shirayuki searches through hers.

"Its no use I don't have anything to prepare it with!" I yell over to shirayuki
"Neither do I." She answers

Then suddenly the door opened
"Oh, it wasn't either miss Shirayuki or miss Akari who ate the fruits?"
A man spoke sounding dissapointed.

"Who are you?!" Yells Mitsuhide
