"WHAT!? We're going to lay down the defenses?! But they can be here any moment now!!"
Amil screamed at his leader when he told the news for him. He had worked a half year setting up the walls around Northsilver only to get some money to his family. His family was very poor, so he mover from Westtown to get to Northsilver and work as a soldier. He got lucky and actually got a place as a soldier. But he just get to be in the park and watch so people does the right things, until he heard the news of the White wolfs. The white wolfs we're a group of orcs that had betrayed Wolfmead. They had killed innocent people because they didn't think like they thought. They got mad when they got banished from Wolfmead and killed the warchief. The warchief was told to be the strongest orc in history, and everyone got scared of them. After that they heard news from other towns about there warchief, leader, mayor or whatever they had, got murdered from the white wolfs.
"What's more important? Saving the town from a few scratches on the castle or saving the world from an god that promises to destroy all of mankind?" "But... can't some of us at least stay here?" Amil started shaking. The last two days the weather had got thousand times worse.
"If you really want to stay here, FINE, you're fired." The leader left Amil standing by himself in the snow trying to understand what just happend. Why Amil didn't want to go stop this god was because he didn't believe in those stories. He ran to the leader.
"Okey, I'll go with you guys, but if no god have gotten free, you owe me one." The leader got a big smile on his face and looked at Amil. "This is why you got the job as a soldier" "Because I finally decided to go with you?" "No, because I can threaten you to get into any job" he said and walked away. Amil felt how his throat started to sting whenever he took a breath and got into the bar next to him.

"Exactly why did we pick up these dwarfs?"
Things started to get clear for Grizzly now. He heard two orcs conversation, but not so clear.
"Because, this is the humans source to get weapon, and if we fight them, they not gonna get any new weapons".
Grizzly was awake now and realised that an orc was dragging him. He started to fight it when the orc lifted him up. "So you're awake now huh? Now, make me a sword." The orc threw him on the ground next to a broken axe and a stick.
"I... I don't work with that, I'm more the mailman". The orc walked to him and kicked him in the stomach. "I didn't ask..." Grizzly picked up the axe's blade and saw something inside the axe's holder that probably could be used to attach something sharp on it. He picked up the holder and put a piece of broken glass on. "Not that good, but something". Grizzly gave him the sword, axe thing and the orc turned around.
"He made this out of glass and a broken axe. If we gave him some material and time he could make something real good." The orc walked to him and picked him up. "What's your name, dwarf?!" Grizzly tried to get loose from the orcs hard grip, but it was impossible. "Grizzly, me name is Grizzly.." The orc smiled at him and started walking again. He raised his hand down to drag Grizzly on the ground again. Grizzly tried to look around to see if he could see any of his friends. He could only see three people, and he only knew one of them, it was his boss. Grizzly felt how his eyes started to sting and closed his eyes. After a few minutes he fell asleep.

Grizzly woke up in a tent. It was made of some leather from an animal. Grizzly knew this material from some of the swords grip back in the mountains. Around him he found sleeping dwarfs that had huge wounds on them. They all laid on each other in a pile. Grizzly felt the pain rushing through his body. It felt like someone stabbed him with spikes everywhere on his body.
He tried to stand up, but he couldn't. He heard some others dwarf moan under him, so he wasn't the only one alive. The tent's door went up and a cold breeze came in with an orc. The orc saw that Grizzly was alive and grabbed him in the collar and dragged him out in the snow. Grizzly didn't really see much, but he saw orcs. Some of them raised tents, others lit a campfire and others just sat and drank booze. The orc dragged Grizzly to a table. He placed Grizzly on one of the chair. Grizzly started seeing clear again, there was weapon parts spread out on the table, well, it wasn't really a table. It was a dead horse with leather on it. On the other side sat an orc, drinking booze out of a horn. He had a hat of a wolfs head, his clothes was also wolf skin. He looked at Grizzly with unpleasant face. "What are you looking at? Go back to work!"
Grizzly looked down on the weapon parts. What was going on? First a giant dragon attacked his home and after that he and his people got kidnapped by orcs. Everything spinned in his head, that he was hurt only made it worse. It stank from the dead horse, which made it very hard to concentrate. He took up the weapons and started to work.

After about a half hour of working Grizzly got a break. The orc lead him to a tent with other slaves, but i wasn't just dwarfs. There was humans, orcs and animals so as donkeys and horses. The orc pushed him in the tent and got a piece of bread thrown at him. But Grizzly didn't get it. The other slaves rushed to him and fought about the bread. Grizzly crawled away to the corner of the tent. He sat down and tried to sleep, but it was really hard because of all the people fighting over the piece of bread. But after some minutes he finally fell asleep.
