"Damn, soooo can I bother Aether then?" she clearly isn't getting it. 
"No, let Aether sleep...or cry." Venti says. Everyone looks at Venti. "Fine I'll go check on him!" 
"Thanks Venti," Everyone says in unison; a look of disgust or fear crosses his face as he walks out. 


Venti's POV:

I walk down the hall, alone. An uneasy feeling growing in my stomach. I quicken my pace and arrive at Aether's door. I hear talking inside, and Aether's quiet sobs. I decide not to wait to be let in or to have whoever talking to him make him cry more, and to my surprise Lumine and Keaya stand by Aether. "Ohh, am I interrupting something...I can leave." "No, no my dear. Come on Lumine lets leave these two to talk." Keaya leads Lumine out the room. I run to Aether's side and hand him tissues.

He takes a deep shaky breath, "They just came in and started questioning me and then Keaya told Lumine to be quiet and Lumine blew up on him..." He starts crying more.

"He's fine, well he's with Ei and Yae Miko so as fine as you can get with those two." I laugh slightly but it comes out as awkward. He laughs. 
"So...can I see him?" He asks quietly.
"Wha, oh yeah, yeah. Uhh. When?" 
"Like now?" 
"Oh yeahhh suree. I think." I hold his hand as he slowly stands up and we walk over to Xiao's room. Walking with Aether is way less scary than walking by myself. 
We arrive and knock on the door. 
"Come in!" A small voice from the inside says. I open the door and place Aether in the chair next to Xiao. 
"Hey, I feel like we ended on the wrong foot their," He freezes as Xiao holds up his note, "fuck." 
I get up and leave. 


Aethers POV:
