sitting among the rest of their class, minus kyung jun and jinha who were in their rooms they sat there to talk about who they would vote.
"we really need to vote now." somi states before asking the rest, "what would you do?"
"in any case, i think kyung jun is a civilian." eun bin tells them carefully, "but we dont know what jinha is. then, we should let kyung jun live."
"but kyung jun is weird too. why would he kill the doctor as well if he was civilian?" somi says.
"right, he had an ax too." mina states with her arms crossed,
"geez, are you stupid?" yeonwoo asks her as sooha stares at her phone which was on the table while the rest glance at him, "he has the keys. why would he destroy the door?"
"do you have a hole in your head?" mina asks as she gets mad, "he must've intentionally broken it, so we dont suspect him."
"no.. jinha is even more suspicious." eun bin says in thought, "he pretended to be a police officer and wrote down names."
"i know.." dabeom agrees, "jinha often borrowed money from joowon to buy lottery tickets."
his sentence made sooha tense up a bit, rubbing her hands together as she shares a quick glance with somi who was diagonal to her as she sat between yoonseo and junhee.
"he could've killed him so he doesent have to pay him back." dabeom adds on as yeonwoo makes a look of understanding.
it was quiet for a few seconds before nahee decided to speak up, "yoonseo, who do you think is the mafia?"
"theres actually something that bothers me." yoonseo says as she looks to the girl.
"what is it?" sooha asks her friend in a soft tone.
"when the mafia kills someone, they say 'executed'." yoonseo says, "but why did they say yujun 'died'?"
"it could be because he died during the day.." yoonseo trails off.
"or both jinha and kyung jun could be civilians.." sooha finishes as she catched what she was thinking.
"what would we do then?" yoonseo asks as she looks around.
"why are you making it so complicated?" somi asks her as she leans forwards, "they killed yujun together. just.. tell them not to vote."
"no.. we'd be just like them if we killed everyone like that." junhee says as sooha nods her head.
"yeah.. dont be so ridiculous.." she adds on.
"why doesent the police officer use their power then?" somi asks in frustration, "save whoever's the civilian between them."
"thats right." yeonwoo pipes in, "that'd be the best way."
"bullshit.." sooha mutters before looking at them, "the doctor died as well. so the police must feel pressured right now."
