i saw a video that was talking about how autistic brains need more sugar that non autistic brains do which makes so much sense!!!! there are more connections between neurons in autistic brains. more axons require more glucose to maintain said axons because they are like cells within cells with their own mitochondria which means.... their own energy system that runs COMPLETELY seperate from the rest of the neuron!! and with that, most autistic people have a greater amount of neurons which ALSO MEANS YOUR BRAIN WILL WEIGH MORE!!! 🤯🤯 - sunnie
