Undisclosed Watcher

Maddie Marble scrolled through her favorite gaming channels in hopes of finding new videos from her favorite streamers. Maddie eyes beamed at the sight of a new Shine Studios video. She smiled and clicked play on it only to find it to be non-existent. A common occurrence when streamers when they were still editing it. She looked at the video options of view,join,comment,subscribe, and thumbs up and down buttons along with her added button.

She tuned into their live stream to see they were playing her favorite game, ShadowRealm. It was her favorite with survival skills and building and taming monsters. Dressing up one avatar and decorating the house or even going out to slay enemys. You could eat,drink and sleep or even attend events or dungeons or even have your very own pet or island,wanted to enjoy nature then go ahead or even go on a quest or race,virtual anything to say the least.

Maddie spent her days taking care of her garden and feeding her virtual animals. She would help out the local Npcs. But a smile came upon her face when she met the granny npc. She was always so sweet and nice. It had been the only Npc that SkilledDemoness,a professional player, had left behind when she moved on. No one had seen her in quite some time. She was atop the leaderboards and had to take a break for health reasons.

Maddie player greeted her. "Hello,dearie,are you taking care of yourself,getting enough water or food? Please do stop in and have a pie with me once in a while,will you?" Maddie smiled before clicked the option.' Yes Ma'm,if you need anything, then please do ask,' the npc waved. Maddie smiled as she then tuned in to the Shine Studios live stream.

Colddeck was picking at HiddenStar. "Im pretty sure you were around during that time. How does it feel to be older?"Hiddenstar, who was a gaming granny, brushed it off.

Maddie, who went by the name of SimpleSeeker, noticed the tone and put in the chat.

"That's rude ,Colddeck,have respect for your elders," Maddie typed out, then entered

Her comment got so many likes, and people started dragging him in chat.

"I'm sorry Hiddenstar,that was rude, apologies."Maddie felt off about that apology. It seemed to be a reoccurring pattern.

She switched off from the Shine Studios live stream and tried to join. Joining as her other original character, StarShown. She was a low-level character on this account. Compared to Trailblazer,because no one barely made all there platforms a account using the same name as everyone goes through phases.

She then sprung a theory and joined Colddeck server. She said hello in the chat, which prompted many people to say hello. Colddeck himself welcomed her with her reply of 'nice to meet you.' Colddeck said the same. Maddie knew where all the overpowered gear was. She asked for pointers on how to level up fast. She knew any gamer would point her in the right direction. Colddeck pointed her to his videos because they were of better quality.

Maddie knew her gamer knowledge came in handy. As of the Shine Studios group,there were six members.

Maddie kept playing, "I'm level 10,nice!"Other in the chat said congratulations. Colddeck invited her to do a raid. She accepted, knowing she had okay gear. They demolished the boss. " Thank you for the invite and raid gear. You guys are the best! Colddeck typed, "Of course!" She waved bye. They waved back,but she tested to see if the rumors were true.She realized she had been given low quality gear.

She hopped back on as Simplyseeker, with her trailblazer title. She visited her favorite npc late at night only to find something admist. Since the game worked on real life time. Something was different than before. She heard crying, and it perked her curiousty in the game. It sounded like it was coming from the granny house.
