Back with Emi's group, they were seen up in a tree house constructed up on a tall Japanese maple. Emi was seen sharpening her weapons, as Sticky was seen talking with Riley, Candy, and Grenda.

Sticky: It is true. I'd managed to wrestle down a boar-q-pine all by myself. It wasn't easy, but I did it.

Riley: That is unbelievable.

Sticky: And I am friends with some wolves.

Candy: Really?

Grenda: Wolves are real?

Sticky: Elsewhere yes, but not in Japan I presume?

Candy/Grenda: Pretty much.

Riley: Wolves don't exist in Japan. Every creature within the Land of the Rising Sun knows that the wolves of Japan are just a myth. Ones you would tell to deer and boars to scare 'em into behaving and to prevent themselves from getting in over their heads.

Grenda: For all we know that those myths can't be real.

Sticky: What else do you think of as myths?

Candy: Dragons, yokai, etc.

Riley: In other words, we always love Emi no matter what.

Sticky: What it means to be with her?

Grenda: It's because she always supported and help us. In return, we help do things for her in return too.

The American black bear didn't say more as they continue to stare out in the open window.
