09:37 AM ; Graduation Ceremony Day,
Seoul Convent School,
Seoul, South Korea

All students were gathered with their parents and guardians. Teachers distributed trophies and medals and certificates to those who had passed out with ultimate rankings.

Indeed, Tae-hee was one of them.

Tae-hee was here with Wendy. Her soon-to-be aunt. She was here as Tae-hee's guardian since not only her father, but also her uncles weren't able to make it, due to their busy schedule.

Seokjin had already gone for his mandatory military service. The others are in the queue.

"Tae-hee? You've passed with flying colours! This is just so amazing! I'm so proud my lovely girl!" Wendy exclaimed as she hugged Tae-hee in her graduation attire. Tae-hee smiled but was sad since her father couldn't see her graduate.

I'm 12 already and am about to turn 13 next month. Is it going to go on like this? My Dad's set to leave for his mandatory military service. What would it be when he's not around? Would there be any difference? His presence and absence, both feel the same to me, to be honest.

Tae-hee thought as she looked at other kids with their parents. She then reached Wendy's car who kept on talking about how she was so happy to hear that she had passed with good marks and was able to enroll into any of the most famous and prestigious schools throughout the country.

Tae-hee was in her own thoughts and was bought back to reality when someone called out for her. She turned back only to find her her precious friends. Wendy stopped talking as she looked back too. She smiled when she saw Tae-hee's friends.

Her face brightened up as she smiled ear to ear. "Kar! Gis! Ning! Min!" She called out for them as she ran towards them. She threw herself in their embrace as they all shared a group hug, shedding happy tears.

"Oh, Tae-hee! We'll miss you so much! We'll miss all of us!" Yi Zhuo exclaimed while she cried. Karina smiled. "I'll be moving to Incheon, to help my Grandmother. And I'd do my schooling from there. I'll be going to a school in Incheon. My grandmother has already talked to them." She said as she wiped her tears. Tae-hee softened her gaze. "Kar? Will you be good?" She asked. Karina smiled and nodded. "Well, I might face some problems but everything will be fine." Karina replied as she ruffled Tae-hee's hair. Tae-hee smiled.

"I'll be moving to China with Yi Zhuo. My aunt is friends with her mom. So, her mom offered that I'd go there and study with Yi Zhuo." Giselle mentioned as she smiled a little at the end. Yi Zhuo smiled. "Yes! It'd be fun!" She squealed. Min-jeong too smiled. But then her face saddened. "I'll be the only one to stay here." She mumbled while playing with her certificate and her medals. Tae-hee looked at her. All of them went quiet.

"But, I'll call you always! I'll call all of y'all and tell you all the fun things happening around! And yeah, I'll be the only one to be able to eat the famous pizza flavoured bread!" Min-jeong snickered. Everyone laughed as they looked at each other. But again, it all went quiet.

"Why don't you come with me, Min? I'm sure your marks are good enough to be enrolled into the school I wanna go to. Why not come with me?" Tae-hee suggested. Min-jeong smiled as she patted Tae-hee's shoulder. "Currently, I'm Miss Seul-gi's responsibility. And since she takes care of me, I'll only be where she is, so that she's not worried. Because, even if I was to come with you, where will I stay?" Min-jeong asked. Tae-hee sighed sadly. "I could have let you stay at my place. But..." Tae-hee trailed off. She remembered her father and how problematic it could get to just ask him.

But by looking at Min-jeong's face, Tae-hee forgot every other problem that existed or might exist. She smiled. She held her hands as she gave her a firm nod. "I'll ask my Dad. I'll ask him if I could let you in with me." Tae-hee was firm. Min-jeong giggled. "You don't need to, Tae-hee. I'm good. I'll be good here. Besides, I get to stay with Miss Seul-gi and eat all my favourite things! Basically, whatever she cooks is my fav!" She giggled. Tae-hee smiled as she hugged her. "I'll be missing you, Min. I'll miss every one of you. I'll miss everything that we did." She said as she teared up.
