At a mission, everyone had to scatter and look for certain curses and exorcise them, megumi instructed itadori and nobara to go into certain directions despite yuuji saying he felt no curse energy towards that way.
As everyone spread apart, megumi ran into a very different direction, he found himself at the foot of a shrine and slowly walked inside, "where are you!" He yelled, his yell was not of fear or anger but rather of desperation.
Megumi sighed heavily when he noticed her walk out of the darkness that was present inside the shrine, "Did you miss me?" She asked him, a special grade curse she was but oh in the body of a young girl around the age of megumi.
The girl had already been dead and the curse that hosted inside the body was the one megumi had fallen for, even the body aroused him at this point, that's how far he had fallen for this curse.
"I wish we were alike" Megumi said, in his heart he knew, she was a bad curse and he was a sorcerer who was meant to exorcise her but he always let her go, chased her just to meet her, misguided other sorcerer just to make sure she wasn't killed.
She walked towards him slowly, standing in front of him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "you know you should already exorcise me, what if I end up killing? " She said while closing her eyes and leaning on him.
Megumi wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes, embracing her as much as he could, " Never say that again...i need you, even if you're a curse" He spoke.
"I, too wish we were alike...rather that I was a human or you were a curse", she spoke as megumi held her as tight as he could, wishing if that could be the reality for the two of them but unfortunately none of them could have each other.
As if the nature was against it as well, but oh he'd still misguide others and chase after her until his last breath, how much had he fallen for her, he would only know through time.
