She yawned and sighed realising, it was time for school again as she sat up on her bed at such an angle so she could face the mirror, ah yes the old useless mirror. She stared at it for about two minutes straight till her mother barged in her room without knocking, knocking? As far as she knew knocking was not something done in her household. Her mother realised that she was trying to look for her reflection in the mirror again, to which her mother sighed and said "good morning, you do realise that it's quite unusual for a vampire to stare at the mirror knowing that they don't have a reflection, right? Well either ways you should really get over it now it's been 7 years since you discovered your reality". "Reality?" She scoffed. "Just get ready already, it's about time you learn how to hunt". She stared deep into her mother's hazel eyes as her mother stared back at her green eyes and she said "I hate who I am, who you are! Who they are!". Her mother lowered her gaze with a sigh only to bring it back up and said "Come on it's almost time for school, even if you find it dreadful to hunt you have to as soon as you reach eighteen years-" she cuts her off her and continues "I won't be able to rely on human food and would naturally crave blood and not knowing how to hunt will eventually become the end of me, I know I know and that's why I hate it" she adds "hate me, hate you and hate all others of this disgusting species". Her mother annoyed, left her room without a word not bothering to close the door behind her. She thought to herself if only she could escape this world, this reality, that too with someone special, perhaps someone who she hasn't crossed paths with yet, could it happen? Maybe.
