Excitement flooded my veins, a joyful grin washing over my face as I stood upon the steps awaiting my entrance to Auradon Prep. Eventually the beaming figure of the fairy godmother welcomed me, giving me a tour of the masterpiece. I couldn't help but feel slightly uneasy as the tour dragged on, however, I shoved it right down, a sense of calm washing over myself as I finally entered my room. It was quite simple in design, however, nothing a bit of sprucing up wouldn't do. I had been administered a room to myself due to the fact that I'm a fairy.

New Room:

Much better

Much better.

Interestingly enough I am a wind fairy, the daughter of Vidia, also a wind fairy. Oh how I miss her, however, this is for the best.

Unlike my mother I have blonde hair and bright green eyes. She never really told me who my father was, just muttering a few things about Neverland and how I look just like him. I have since cherished that knowledge, revelling in the slightest details about my father.

Today I was dressed in a simple gown reaching just below my knees, partnered with simple flats, similar to that my mother wore.

After settling I wasted no time dressing, staying in the purple gown I arrived in, exiting my room, venturing through the famed halls. I wandered lazily, taking in the new environment, my wings lingering behind myself, much to the students surprise?

One would think that a simple pair of fairy wings would be a mere bore in comparison to this magic infested school. Furthermore, these students parents. Surely my wings weren't abnormal?

"Woah..."

I abruptly spun around on my heel to be met with a girl with faded blonde hair cascading into a bland purple. She had a tear stained face, her eyes red and swollen, as she stared in a daze at my wings.

"Hello? May I help you?" I asked, a small tilt to my head as I questioned the sniffling girl.

"Umm. No, I'm fine. Sorry, I should be going," she responded quickly, not waiting for a response before hastily running away, pushing herself into what I could only presume to be her dorm.

How curious...

I forced my wings to flutter slightly, gliding over to her dorm room entrance, shrinking to my normal size to fit through the key hole. Once I had entered I was met with the crying girl, writing vigorously on a piece of paper, wearing new clothes. Peculiar clothes, much unlike anything I had ever seen.

I returned to my other size, making myself known. She shrieked, jumping back slightly, "how did you get in here?!"

"I can change my size. I am a fairy... was that not clear?"

"No, no. I know, it just startled me is all. You're Violet right? I was informed you would be coming to Auradon. I'm Mal," she quickly replied, introducing herself.

"Mal... why were you crying?" I questioned, nearing her slightly, my gown dragging slightly on the floor.

"Do you ever feel like you just don't belong?"

"Why of course. That's why I'm now here at Auradon. However, I find myself to be an oddity here?"

Mal chuckles slightly, "well that might be because of your wings. We are not entirely familiar with fairies."

"Hmm. But what about Fairy Godmother?" I responded, a twinkle in my eye.

"She's different..."

"Ahhh... well what are you doing now?"

"I'm getting ready to return to the Isle of the Lost," Mal responded, "and I should be going soon, before someone realises I'm missing..."

"Well we wouldn't want that. Here say, why don't I go with you?" I suggested, a mischief flooding my veins, a grin adorning my pale lips. I cut her off before Mal could continue, "I mean, it would be a real shame if anyone found out before you returned to the, what was it? The Isle of the Lost? Especially before you could make it back there?" I finished, smirking slightly.

A silence fell over us, she looked to be thinking intensely before a sense of calm seemingly washing over her. A smirk fell upon her features, mirroring my own, "you will do well on the Isle," she responded, conforming to my desires, "but we need to fix your look," she finished, looking me up and down.

"What did you have in mind?"

"What did you have in mind?"

"Why the cape?"

"We need to hide your wings from everyone at the Isle. They won't take too kindly to your appearance..."

"Ahh. That does sound quite fair. Shall we take our leave now?"

"Yes, I suppose we should"
