THE THURSDAY EVENING before the Grand Prix weekend was as hectic of a night as Stevie had ever known. Cleo and Belle had come over, and Ayala was on the phone from her house in Cincinnati. Anastasia was at a hotel with Lando, which Stevie couldn't even stay mad at her for because she knew they would barely get ten minutes alone for the next three days.

"At least two outfits for each day, I mean, you have to be prepared for every scenario." Cleo said, practically to herself as she sifted through the clothes hanging up in Stevie's closet.

"What kind of scenario could I possibly get into?" The girl rolled her eyes from her bed, looking up from her phone where she had her conversation with Arthur displayed on the screen.

"You tell me, you're the one going out with the man whose DMs you're festering in right now." Belle peeked over Stevie's shoulder before she quickly pressed the power button, locking her phone.

"It's not like anything would happen. Even if we wanted something to happen, there's bound to be cameras everywhere."

"Not behind closed doors, though." Cleo wiggled her eyebrows, laying a white vest top onto the floor next to a pair of leather platforms.

"Oh my God, are you seriously talking about me and him having sex?! You are a different level of despicable, Cleo." Stevie gawked at her friend sitting on the floor, while Belle opened her vanity drawer and picked out a random lip gloss.

"Who's having sex? Guys, someone put me where I can fucking see and hear." Ayala whined from Belle's phone, and Stevie reached over to prop it against a pillow.

"Maybe if you weren't hiding in fucking Ohio instead of staying here with everyone else, there wouldn't be an issue." Stevie scolded, running a hand through her hair.

"Oh, I'm sorry, having a superstar quarterback comes with its drawbacks."

"We fucking get it, but Anastasia's and Belle's boyfriends are worth more than Joe's entire team so shut the fuck up." Cleo snapped, carefully placing a pair of earrings next to a printed blue top.

"You're just sour because you don't have a date with a race car driver." Ayala blurted out and Cleo poked her head over the bed and made sure her middle finger was in view of the camera.

"Guys, focus? I have to have a game plan for this weekend. It's going to be hard working and trying to spend time with Arthur. I mean, this probably isn't even allowed right? There's gotta be a rule." The girl questioned, but Belle shook her head.

"Trust me, he's a Leclerc. Any rule that did exist definitely does not apply to him."

CLEO WAS JUMPING UP AND down on the bed, her hair flying around her as she giggled maniacally.

"He likes you!" Cleo and Belle both shouted in unison, and Stevie could see Belle frantically typing on her phone, probably to tell Anastasia.

"Well, I should hope so, he's going on a date with me."

"Maybe you could get me in with his brother..." Cleo grinned and wiggled her eyebrows, gathering the outfits her, Belle, and Stevie had decided on, and taking them to the ironing board set up near the window.

"Cleo, I'm pretty sure Charles' would, one, not just go out with some random girl his brother's date knows, and two, he'd probably be terrified of you." Stevie counted the reasons on her fingers, leaning back against her pillows.

"But it's so hot when men are scared of me."
