So far, Cale's experience of the past has left him with little but negative feelings steeping in his chest.

The 'helper' that Death supposedly sent him was not at all what he was expecting. Cale would not have believed the man's claim of being from another world had Cale himself not been the one to make a deal with a god and go back in time.

Only, it seems that even that wasn't as simple as he had thought. This clearly was not his 'past.' Cale Henituse had two siblings. Additionally, he was the only child between Deruth and Jour.

Yet now he's being informed that he has a twin brother by the name of Roksu Henituse. Clearly, Death had a sense of humor.

One could say that the start of their partnership was...rocky. His first impressions of Roksu were unfavorable, to say the least. They were complete and utter opposites, from what Cale could tell.

But that was fine. Cale didn't bargain with Death in order to make friends. As long as Roksu could serve his purpose, Cale could look past his insufferable personality.

Though, the notion that his entire existence only amounted to a novel in another world deeply unsettled him. Being a 'character' in someone else's story caused man's hairs to stand on edge when it was first explained to him. A reasonable reaction, he expected. Not that this happened all the time, mind you, but Cale figured he was taking it pretty well. He had learned to prioritize rationale a long, long time ago.

Which brings him to this current situation about a day later, as Cale attempted to suppress the fear rising through him at the sight of a much too familiar and haunting face.

Choi Han, the 'Hero.' Was standing outside Roksu's door.

Cale had only come here to further discuss plans for action with Roksu, but was instead greeted with a sight that was somehow more disturbing than a stranger with his face.

Cale swallowed down the bile in his throat as the swordsman looked over and unintentionally locked eyes with him. Cale could see a brief flash of confusion in the young man's eyes as they quickly flitted between Cale and the door in front of him.

Cake cleared his throat, pushing back the nervousness that tried so desperately to keep it's grip on him.

'Get it together, Cale. That hasn't hasn't happened yet. That isn't the same bastard.'

Still, he couldn't shake off the unsettled feeling as phantom pain flared at his side.

"Ahem," Cale cleared his throat, quickly donning the persona of an arrogant, rude noble. Not enough to ensure another crippling beating, but enough to make sure that Choi Han stays far away from him in the future.

"Just who are you to be standing here, some sort of vagrant? Out of my way."

Cale huffed, sending a sharp glare at the black-haired man. A feeling of mild satisfaction rose up when he saw the so-called hero's eyes narrow and his expression sour. Really, this kid should get better at hiding his thoughts. It's almost too easy.

"...I came to speak with 'him.'"

Choi Han's voice was quiet, but far from timid. Based on the look in his eyes, Cale could tell that he was currently sizing him up. Cale could almost see the wheels turning in that black-haired head of his.

'Is this an enemy? He looks like the one from last night. Are they related? But 'he' was much different.'

Cale could feel the younger's stare, and the hairs on the back of his neck rose out of instinct. Crazy bastard.

"Hah, show proper respect to the eldest son of Count Henituse. That's 'Young Master Roksu'* to you."

a/n: 'Rok Soo' and 'Roksu' have slightly different pronunciations. Rok Soo is the Korean pronunciation and refers to KRS. Roksu sounds a bit different for immersion or wtv and so that CH doesn't have a fucking aneurysm
