( Cassie's POV )

I was woken by the sound of my alarm. I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed. I was so tired, I was not able to fall asleep for like 3 hours last night. I went to my closet and picked out an outfit.
Outfit:

I did my make up and went down to eat breakfast. When I got downstairs luckily no one was in the kitchen so I made a bagel with cream cheese.

While eating my breakfast I was scrolling through TikTok, my for you page was full with videos of my brothers.

I was still mad at them so I closed TikTok and checked my other socials. As I was eating my bagel I heard someone come downstairs.

" hey " I heard chris' voice say. " hi " I replied. I did not look at him once, I was so not in the mood for an interaction.

" did you sleep well? " Chris asked me. I sighed " yeah fine ". The silence was so loud, most of the time Chris and I can talk with each other for hours without getting bored and now it felt so awkward.... Which is obvious because of what had happened yesterday but it still felt odd.

I finished my bagel and walked out of the kitchen leaving Chris alone. I just sat in my bed the whole day watching my favorite serie.

Monday 8:00 PM

I got out of bed and went to go grab my jacket because I wanted to go on a little walk. Just to clear my mind.

I grabbed my lipgloss, my wallet, and my phone. I was debating whether I should take my little microphone with me.

Context: when I was younger I loved exploring and I used to go to the most random and abandoned places in our town without my family knowing where I was. I'd always find a way back home but my parents were worried all the time because they lost me. So when I turned 10, nick, Matt and Chris bought this little tracking device shaped as a microphone ( because I loved singing ) and gave it to me and made sure I'd always had it on me. Since then I never stopped carrying it around with me. There's this little button on top for emergency's.

I grabbed it just in case and walked back downstairs. As I wanted to walk out of the door I heard Matt calling my name.

" hey Cass, where you going? " he asked. " just on a little walk " I replied.

" do you want me to come with? " he asked. Why would I want HIM to come with me? don't they realize that I'm still mad at them? " no " I said. And with that I walked out.

I hated arguing with my brothers but come on now, I have a good reason to be mad at them don't I? They're just leaving me here, just so they can go live their little famous life out there in LA.

30 minutes later

I was listening to some music while still walking till I heard something behind me. I looked over and saw a car pulling up right next to me. " shit " I mumbled to myself. I started walking faster but that didn't help.

There were 3 guys sitting in the car and one rolled down the window. I grabbed my phone and as I wanted to go text my brothers the guys started yelling at me.

I turned down my volume to hear what they were saying. " hey girl come on hop in " one of the guys said. " no thanks " I replied. I texted Nick, Matt and Chris in the group chat:

The guys were now getting out of the car, my breath started to get faster and I was sweating and shaking.

I didn't know what to do so I decided to run because I had no other choice. As I was running one guy ran after me as the other guys got back into the car and drove after me. Luckily for me I was faster than that guy who was chasing me but I knew the car would catch up on me.

I had never ran that fast in my entire life. I tried to shake off the guys by running in to random alleys. Somehow there were also no people near which was really odd. I continued to run.

( Chris' POV )

Shit shit shit.... " she's not answering my texts! " I said to Matt who was driving the car to the location where her tracking device pointed to.

" have you tried calling her? " Matt asked. " yes multiple times but she's not picking up! " I replied.

I was so stressed out. I hope nothing had happened to Cassie. I can't let anything happen to her!

" her location keeps changing very fast! Do you think they got her?? " Matt asked as I could see tears forming into his eyes. " I don't know... " I said.

Matt was now accelerating, way over the maximum speed limit. " we're almost there " Matt said. I started getting really anxious, I really hope she's okay....
