It was like a harmonious song of a bird, the soothing pull of the oceans calm waves as they drew back from a shore of previously moistened sand- No. That sound was truly there. The waves, they were real. The thought of verifying the sound came all too quick as his eyelids flickered against the blazing sun beaming onto his body shy of upper clothing.

"Sugu?" He looked towards the source of the endearing name, the sight of white tresses blowing and comparatively shielding the beckoners face. Sugu. The endearment gifted to him from the very caller. He can easily remember the first time he had asked her why she began to call him that and where it stemmed from, and all she could do was laugh and giggle those same strings of harp. She would always say that it felt personal to her, like she had something of him to claim to. And, he liked it.

"Say it again." He whispered from the rasp of his dormant throat. She giggled once more, with a slight shake to her head that made her hair frolic rhythmically with the wind. "Please..." This voice, and the words it could speak and chant were so pleasing to his ears. He had longed to hear these chords made by heavenly angels, just one. more. time. The longing had taken over him, as he didn't even realize he had just begged her, and yet he hoped it wouldn't cause distaste for how poor he was with his words suddenly.

"You fell asleep on me again?" A shadow cast over his face as her hands that were placed on the skin of his neck and arms had lifted to control the tresses playing in the ocean breeze. His eyes took this moment of luck to focus on the smile parting her lips directly above him, the physical display of elation outshining the large star in the sky.

His senses soon followed his realization of comfort, acknowledging the feeling of her legs shift beneath his head as she fixed her posture to truly see him in his awoken daze. "Did I?" He meagerly replied, the corners of his lips trying to tug upward. A light chuckle came from her throat as she shook her head, her hair rustled against her skin lightly as if it had its own life and emotion apart from the resurrection of the breeze. "I missed that sound."

"And, I missed the feeling of the blood flowing to my legs." She blinked slowly, slightly wrinkling her nose and furrowing his brows as she attempted another quick shift of her weight to offset the weight of his head atop her thighs. The tan she would get from his outline would be all too funny and she was aware thus far jeans in summer weather would have to do at this point; but he was at least saving her from the sunburn.

Her soft touch met the skin of his forehead with the lay of her palms stamping the loose hairs crowding his forehead. "Are you not burning?" Her hands moved to touch and hold a few second on each of his cheeks and beneath his chin. "You feel hot, love."

"More comfortable than ever... why worry about me? Why not enjoy our time together?" His head lifted as he peeked up to look at her once more, finally adjusting to meet the blue of the eyes brighter than the sky above. The ones that had their own clouds of sun, rain, and clarity. His descent into her eyes deepened, and with it his brain. Confusion hit him like a forceful wave, forcing him under the vengeful current. His focus was slipping, images in his mind began to twist and before him memories were piling onto an anxiety attack.

"I am enjoying our time, after all, I haven't seen you in so long. Sugu, how have things been?" The last thing he wanted was for her to worry for him, and even more so, for her to see him as his emotions and mind became louder than everything else. She couldn't see this part of him. It was ugly. It was a monstrous. She would leave him... even worse, Satoru and Rintaro would leave him. He couldn't lose them both.
