Chapter 1-𝓜𝓮𝓮𝓽

𝓜𝓪𝓽𝓽'𝓼 𝓹𝓸𝓿

Today was like any other day. I woke up with dark circles under my eyes from staying up late to do my homework. I got up from my bed, walking straight to my closet to pick out my outfit for the day. I loved picking a matching outfit, it was my favourite thing to do. When i finally found a shirt and hoodie that fitted together, i put my phone in my pocket and walked out of my room. When i finally got downstairs, i saw my mom making breakfast. She was making french toast, my favorite! I smiled at her as she put my plate with the breakfast on the table in front of me. When i finished my meal, i put my dishes in the sink and went to put my coat and cap on since it was pretty cold outside.

Today was the first day of middle school (7th grade if you were confused) in a new school. My mom decided that starting at a new school would be better for me, at my last school i was being bullied for being a nerd, i couldn't help it, i love studying and learning new subjects. Anyways, today was a fresh start, no stressing, it shouldn't be too hard, right??

As i walk to my locker, i bump into someone, making his things fall on the ground. " Oh my god im so sorry. " , i say as i lean down to help him pick his books up. " oh don't worry, its ok" he said, smilling at me, also leaning down to pick his things up. When i get all of his stuff, i give it back to him, locking eyes together. My heart beat goes faster as i look in his beautiful blue eyes, had pretty luscious brown hair and was about my height. 𝓓𝓪𝓶𝓷, 𝓱𝓮'𝓼 𝓱𝓸𝓽, i thought to my self. We just stood there, looking at eachother until he finally spoke up, snapping me out of my thoughts. " Hey, are you new here? I've never seem you before." " Yea! I'm new here! I'm Matt. You?" " Chris" he answered, shaking my hand as he had a big smile on his lips. I smiled back at him and he told me " Well, i should get to class now. see you around, Matt!" " okay bye! wait what class do you have right now?" " i have math" " oh no way! Me too!" " Great! Follow me i'll show you where it is."

When we finally arrive at out class, we sit down next to eachother and get our math book out to the page the teacher told us to open. As i listen to the teacher talking, i feel eyes on me, i turn around to see Chris quickly looking away shyly. I smile, noticing the slight blush he has on his face from ambarassement
that i've caught him. I giggle quietly at myself and turn my attention back to the teacher explaining math.

I hear the bell, telling me that the class ended. i take my stuff and look at chris, waiting for me to walk with him to our next class, luckily we had pretty much every class together, so he could show me where all of my classes are.

𝓣𝓲𝓶𝓮 𝓼𝓴𝓲𝓹

It is finally lunch time. I take my lunch box, walking to the cafeteria where i see Chris sitting with a few other people, who, i assume, are his friends. I walk up to them saying hi to everyone and sitting down mext to chris. As i'm eating my lunch, i feel a hand on my thigh, i look down to see Chris's hand on it.I panick internally as my heart begins pounding in my chest. I feel my cheeks heat up as he strokes my thigh with his thumb. I look up to see him talking to his friends like nothing was happening. He then took a quick glance at me to wink and goes back to talking to his friends who are oblivious of the whole thing.

When lunch time ends, chris's friends gets up to go to class while we sit there. He finally speaks up " Do you wanna hang out after school at the skatepark? " , i nod, telling him that i would love to. " We should probably go to class before we're late." " Yea we should" , i say as he takes my hand in his and ran out of the cafeteria.
