Hearing knocking on my door, I groan, turning over reaching for my phone to check the time, seeing that it is 6:02
"Mir get and get yourself together. When you done come downstairs I made breakfast" I heard my pops voice on the other side of the door.
"I'm up!" I said loudly enough that he could hear me. Soon, I heard him walking away, so I got up and headed straight to the bathroom to handle my business. Flushing the toilet, I turned the shower on, letting it get hot for a while, then jumped in, grabbed my loofah, and body wash, put some on the loofah, and began washing my body.
Yes, I wash with a loofah what you gone do about it...
Once I got out of the shower, I put on all my undergarments went over to my closet, and grabbed the clothes I sat out the day before.
Today would be my first day at my new school and nervous is not even the word right now yeah this is my last year but this a new school where I don't know anybody and it's not like I'll be going to school with my sister she decided to keep going to our old school while I on the other hand decided to start fresh well actually I needed it but that's a story for another time.
Once I was done putting on all my clothes I went to my dresser and grabbed my YSL cologne my dad gifted me for my seventh birthday then I went and grabbed my book bag stuffing my charger and MacBook inside turning my lights off I made my way downstairs.
"Good morning ma" I kissed her cheek and went to sit down at the island she slid me a plate
"Morning baby are you ready for the first day" she asked and I just shrugged
" I don't know how I feel right now nervous before but then I thought of the talk I had with pops I guess I'm just going to go with the flow" She nodded and I started eating my food
"Okay well if you get uncomfortable or not feeling it call me and I'll come get you" I just nodded and continued eating
"Morning people of the world" Lani came downstairs in the outfit I told her to wear last night causing me to chuckle and shake my head.
"Hey baby your dad is going to be taking you and Leyza to school today because I have to go check on my shop," Mama said passing her a plate of food
"Ok that's fine and Mir what's so funny" She turned and looked at me as she chewed on her food
"It's just funny how you got on the exact outfit I told you to wear" I shrugged and put my plate in the sink then went to grab my book-bag and kissed Mama's cheek
"Whatever punk" She rolled her eyes smiling and soon enough Da, Pa, and Leyza made their way downstairs.
"I'm finna head out I don't wanna be late," I said going to dap up my dads and kiss Leyza's forehead
"Alright be safe and call me if anything happens," Da said and I nodded going over to the front door and grabbing my keys from the hooks
