Lavender Hex – youngest leader of The Dead Rose Gang. At twenty-three, she was a ruthless criminal. However, her crime spree started at seven; way before a physical gun made its way into her delicate-looking hands.

Hex would break into her neighbor's houses – mainly pensioners. Once she entered their premise, her pretty lilac eyes seeded out the home owner's most personal treasure. It was usually their beloved pets. Her first dognapping was a senior dog by the name of Mr. Checkers.

Mr. Checkers did not like Lavender Hex. She would kidnap him at least twice a month and the dog was straight up tired at that young girl's bullshit. He saw her enter through a window, he'd hide under his owner's couch, because nothing good came when that little demon child would visit.

Unfortunately, it didn't end with Mr. Checkers. She was going door to door, loading sacks up with animals. Not to hurt them, but to wait for their owners to post a reward for their missing pet. She kept them in a good-sized shed on her property. One thing Hex knew; her dad would kill her if he found out the scheme she was running. He was part of a gang, just not one that would bother spending their time stealing animals to ransom them off.

No, she knew at a young age that his gang already did that; only with people. Hex would hear her father regularly discuss it over a phone call. Sadly, he exposed her young without even meaning to.

Eventually he caught on to her petnapping service when he went to mow the lawn. Mr. Checkers had somehow managed to eat through the lawnmower bag...where Hex had stashed him. Her dad made her go to each person's house to return each pet; only after giving her a brutal ass beating to a point she couldn't sit comfortably. Let's not even get started on Ms. Peepers; a local senile old woman's cat that she thought was getting out through an open window. Strangely, Hex would take her cat, just so she could return it. She liked visiting the lonely old woman. Not to extort money; just because the woman was kind. It only cost her time, plus some chocolate chip biscuits and lavender tea.

She liked the tea, because she was named after it. Her mum named her, right before passing away from childbirth complications. Her father always called her by their surname; Hex. He always viewed her as a curse, rather than a blessing. Something she knew it had to do with losing his wife.

Age Eight would come quickly for her. She learned how to break into cars and half way to nine, YouTube taught her how to hotwire. Her mind was wise beyond its years. She wasn't doing these things to purposely get in trouble. Lavender Hex was just desperate for her father's approval. She wanted him to say those three little words she's heard her other friend's parents say to them but she'd never get that courtesy.

I love you.

Those words seemed insignificant to anyone who hears it daily but Hex never would.

Instead, she caught the attention of her father's boss, Mr. Sir.

Mr. Sir was scary. Like combining Jeffery Dahmer, Al Capone, Ted Bundy and Freddy Kruger's personalities into a baby-face looking demon. She remembers her first time meeting him. The young Hex was twelve years old; standing between two police officers, staring intently at her father who answered when they knocked. He played the doting father for show, once she was inside with the door firmly shut behind them however...things quickly turned violent. At least Dexter Hex was able to give her some attention; even if it was with brute force.

Mr. Sir stopped Dexter from beating her unconscious, having another idea entirely. One that changed her life forever.

So now, here she is at twenty-three. A young, violent criminal. No mercy, no compassion. It had all been bled from her years ago. Her first act as a member, was to make her first kill.
