It's Jennie's mehendi function today in evening while haldi ceremony is successfully done already. Almost all the guests have arrived already while few are remaining who will directly come at the wedding.
It's chaos in the Jeon's household as back lawn is getting decorated with garlands, fairy lights and other decorative items for the function. Men are busy setting up the seating areas and making final adjustments to the decorations, their voices blending with the laughter and chatter of the women who were engaged in conversations. A few ladies are showcasing their latest designer outfits, assets etc. The children are running around in glee, playing tag and hide-and-seek among the flower beds and decorative arches. While tae is busy following super excited gukkie who is amazed by the hustle and bustle around, running around.
"Gukkie...come here for a second baby." Tae called gukkie who giggled, running more far away from her, making her sigh.
Taking long steps, tae finally managed to scoop him in her arms and fished a handkerchief from her pocket, gently wiping his running nose, eliciting a loud whine from him, irritated as he has caught cold last night.
Tae patted his back as she took him in the room upstairs. Gukkie snuggled closer to her. With difficulties, tae managed to feed him liquid medicine, which they brought from home, tae make him lay on the bed, and layed beside him...lovingly and gently patting his chest, humming a lullaby for him to sleep whose eyes are droopy. She then tugged him properly in a soft baby blanket. Few minutes later, he slept as tae stood up from the bed and opened the cupboard arranging things.
Suddenly the door opened with a noise and a voice emerged..
"MAMA...LOOK MY NEW FRIENDS..." Taeri yelled entering inside.
"Shhh..." Tae immediately shushed her as she immediately approached near gukkie who stirred at the sudden outburst. Tae gently patted his chest, sitting beside, making him sleep back.
"Oops..sorry." Taeri whispered as she noticed sleeping gukkie. After ensuring, he is asleep..tae noticed two girls standing there, holding hands with taeri.

"Mama...they are my new friends....Aisha and Aera.." Taeri introduced them to tae who smiled, motioning them to come forward. Younger girl shied away as she hide behind her elder sister, peeking out from behind, making tae chuckle.
Just then, the door creaked open again, and a graceful lady entered the room. Little girl Aera's eyes lit up with recognition, and without hesitation, she ran towards the newcomer. The lady, immediately scooped up Aera in her arms, her face lighting up with a radiant smile as she turned to greet Tae.
"Hello Tae...how are you and the kids doing?" The lady asked, settling down on the bed infront of tae who showed thumbs up.
"We are fine, Rose. How about you?" Taeri replied, a genuine warmth in her voice. The lady flipped her hair, sassily.
