I asked to meet up with Joslyn because it was about my drug dealing business,and she would be the perfect role for what I needed.
"So what did you need to meet up with me for that was so important" she said twirling the ends of her long French braids.i took a deep breath and began to talk. "I know you and me don't get along well but I need you to play as my gi-girlfriend for a really extravagant party." I said.What's the party for? She said. I sighed for a moment and paused.it's something really important okay? it's a little personal,if you can do it,be ready by 11 and be dressed like your going out for dinner." I handed her a invitation and stood up and payed for the drinks she ordered and walked out the door.(pov over)
I texted Terrence I was ready and he came and got me.On the way to Lunch I couldn't help but feel awkward asf...I was just out of it just stating off into space and suddenly I heard Terrence voice which broke my trance."Hey we're here." He said to me unbuckling his seat belt.I got out the car and was still out of it."JOSLYN!,WATCH OUT!!!!" Next thing I knew Terrence grabbed me out of the street and I was in his arms in the blink of an eye."What the fuck is wrong with you Joslyn?,You Just Almost Walked In front of a Car." He said worried."Its,Nothing.." I said looking still spaced off.We got in and sat down and started to eat.I ordered a Mcchicken,Large fries,cookies,and a sweet teaTerrence ordered a Big Mac with fries and a regular coke."When I was at work i talked to Khalil." I said sipping my tea. "What happened?" Terrence said wiping his mouth."it's just odd that he just asked me for help, out of the blue and didn't,even tell me what was going on." I said.Terrence looked confused for a moment the I pulled out the invitation letter that Khalil gave me and he looked at the invitation really confused."Joslyn?" "Yeah,Wassup?" I said."Is Khalil a You know,Gangster?" He said."Ummm..." I paused for a moment and froze."Yeah he is" I said getting very quiet .
"Don't get to close to Him, I forbid you." He said."Your not my boyfriend or my father.Im Grown I Do what I Want." I said very stern.
"Okay but I'm trying to keep you safe and look after you!" "I DONT NEED YOU TO BABYSIT ME,DAMN!" I blurted out as I quickly covered my mouth.
"Okay." "Terrence,Im-" "save it.I get it,Do yo thang." he said getting up. "thanks for lunch Joslyn,Bye" he said walking out the door and leaving me sitting there by myself.
