"Well. That was eventful," Nellie said turning to look at Cal from her spot on the daybeds
"Can say that again," he said turning his body to face her
"I don't know how G and Toby are still here," Nellie told him as she grabbed his hand to play with his fingers
"Yeah, I thought so too. Especially with the public vote and that. They must like all the drama she brings," he laughed, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear
"Yanno, she's actually been quite tame," she smiled
"Yeah, I spose she has. It's been quiet,"
"Oh well. I feel bad for Casey," she said giving him a small smile
"Yeah, me too. I'll miss the bloke. I know you will too," Cal said rubbing her shoulder
"Yeah, I will. The cheeky bastard. He felt like our child. Like we were his parents," Nellie laughed
"It actually did. Feels like our child's been taken. From like child protection services or somin," he said solemnly
"Oh god," she laughed throwing her head back.
They all got ready that night, with a noticeable dread in the air - obviously left from the loss of the two couples.
