The Rookie - Lucy and Angela

The year of the rookies has past.

Lucy Chen had always been the submissive one, both in her personal life and at work. She was content with being told what to do and following orders, which was why she excelled as a patrol officer at the Mid Wilshire police station. Her petite figure and soft voice made her seem innocent and meek, but it was also what caught the attention of her training officer, Angela Lopez.

Angela was known for her strong demeanor and fierce attitude. She had been a dominant presence in the station for years and had no tolerance for those who couldn't keep up. So when she saw Lucy during one of her training sessions, she knew she had found someone who would fit perfectly in her world.

Lucy's Pov

I have gotten to know Angela through the year. I really like her a lot but I don't think she feels the same about me. I can only dream.

Angela's Pov

Lucy, one of the new rookies is a very nice and caring woman. She is amazing in every aspect of the job and even has stood up to Tim which not many ... actually no rookies do. Sherryle is very hot, I would love to be with her but I don't know how she feels. I can only dream.

Normal Pov

It was any other day, patrolling the streets of Los Angeles. Tim and Nyla have become friends since meet at the beginning of the rookie year.

Tim: "Am I the only one that senses something different about Angela."

Nyla: "No, I have picked up on that as well."

Angela: "Hey guys, what are you talking about?"

Tim: "You."

Angela: "Why?"

Nyla: "Ang you have been acting different, what's going on?"

Angela: "Fine, I have a crush on this girl."

Tim: "Who?"

Angela: "Doesn't matter, it's not like she likes me anyway."

Nyla: "You can tell us, we won't judge you."

Angela: "Okay, it's ... Lucy."

Tim: "Woah, I did not expect that."

Nyla: "It's okay, let's see how she is and then ask her.."

Lucy never confesses her feelings for Angela to anyone, she is slightly embarrassed of what people will think about it.

Everyone is back in the station.

John: "Let's go to the bar for drinks." Everyone agrees. Lucy, Jackson and John all arrives first. Lucy has already down 3 shots, the others were on their first beer still. The others arrive.

Angela: "Okay, I'm going to get a beer. Who wants one?"

Nyla: "Me."

Tim: "Me."

John: "Me."

Jackson: "Me."

Lucy: "No thanks, I'm good."

Angela: "I can go get you a shot." Lucy went to respond but Angela left, Lucy could feel the panic rising within.

Lucy: "I'm going to the bathroom." She gets up and leaves. 

She has been gone for10 minutes when Angela returns.

Angela: "Where's Lucy?"

John: "She went to the bathroom 10 minutes ago."
