Soon after tankhun told his story to the trio, the theerapanyakun family once again gathered for another family dinner
Like before, pete, Porsche and chay were looking from theerapanyakun men to theerapanyakun men just waiting for an outburst
The tension was so tense that Venice started crying that pete snapped out of it and sighed disapproving as he attend to him
"Can't we just have a normal family dinner for once" he scolded them but more pointly to kinn and Kim
The room nodded at his words but still ate in silence
Pete shook his head and mutters "these idiots" then he looks towards Macau "so how did you do on your little project" he asked gently
Macau beams "it went great, I managed to get a high grade and it was totally believable" he continued to rant on and on as the others sans kinn and Kim listened attentively
"I want to know more about the guy in the picture" Kim abruptly interrupted as he look directly at kinn
Silence filled the room once more as Macau quickly stops talking and look at his two cousins
Kinn glares at kim "and I told you to leave it alone"
"Why hia Why give me another reason besides nothing, they hurt you and I want to take care of it"
Kinn eyes soften at the reasoning of Kim's behavior "nong there's nothing you can do about it alright...he's probably long gone by now and it's time to move on hm" then he stood up and heads for the door
"Now if you excuse me there's a business meeting we must attend" he said as he left
Everyone let out a deep breath as Porsche stood and went after kinn but not before looking back "I'm pretty sure we had no meetings after dinner, save some food for me" he said as he left
Kim just sat there looking straight ahead
They must've felt very betrayed I'd they are not talking about this, he wondered
And great minds think alike, Macau turned to vegas "Is it really that bad whatever he did before I mean you're not usually the type to hold secrets for no reason... you use them for blackmail" he questioned
Vegas nods "it's true but this is more complicated
"How" Chay asked head tilted
Vegas sighs
"I remember like it was yesterday..... We were told that our friend in the picture was going on a road trip with a relative but promised to come back... kinn was very excited for him to come home I mean this guy was his role model"
Vegas gulps "then on the day he promised to have come back, he never did... uncle and pa told us that he went away for a very long time and that we should forget about him and from that day on we did... or at least I did, kinn still remembers him I guess" vegas sadly spoke but then clears his throat, stood up and went to take Venice out of his high chair
"But that was a long time ago and right now we are trying to make sure that the theerapanyakuns are still as powerful as ever and this can not weaken us" he sternly said to kim who gave him a look and nods
"Glad you understand this time, now if you excuse me I think this little one is getting fussy" vegas excuses himself with Venice and left with pete in tow
"Wait" Kim called out making vegas turn back to him
"What if hypothetically one of us ran into this person" he asked in a serious tone
Vegas eyes turned cold "then we rather not know" He turns back around and leaves
Chay then let out a huge breath and glared at the other two "you two are killing me here with the amount of tension filling the room" he jokenly scolds
Kim rolls his eyes "time to call tem, I want to take a visit to tankhun again" he said determined
