Author's note: Hey guys! this is one of my first fanfics, and it might be boring the first few chapters, but it won't be for long. So, anyways I will try to update every whenener I can and if I don't I'm sorry. I really hope you guys enjoy this, and sorry the first chapter is so long!
I woke up to water dripping on my leg. A repulsive after taste in my mouth. I was surrounding by beer bottles, and was only in my bra in a bathtub. I got up slowly making sure to not get sick. As I made my way to the door I opened it reviling the pungent smell of the house. My stomach turning and my head pounding as I made my way out of the bathroom. "Mary?" I called. "Mary?" I called once more, but still no answer. I was fairly unfamiliar with the house, so I didn't really know where I was going. As I made my way down stairs I heard mumbling, and spotted Mary on the kitchen isle asleep with a beer.
"Mary! There you are! Come on we're leaving." I said running towards her. "What? Why?" She asked confused. "Just come on." I said. "Wait. Where's your shirt?" She laughed. "I don't know now come on." I said a little more sternly. "Okay mom I'm coming." She mocked. Too tired to fight back, I just shot her a glare. Rummaging through my pockets I found my keys and phone. "15 missed calls" It read. I opened it up, and they were all from mom. Oh god, I have to deal with this when I get home. "Hurry up. I have to get home soon." I said while searching for my car.
"Your car's right here Einstein." She pointed out. I practically sprinted when I saw it. I'm really not in the mood to hear my parents shit today. I just want to sleep. "Dad's or Mom's?" I asked while reaching in the backseat to retrive a hoodie. "Dad's." She lazily said. Mary's parents have been divorced since she was 5, but unlike my parents her's didn't really care what she did as long as she didn't get in trouble with the police.
But unfortnately my parents aren't like that. They've threaten to send me to boarding school but wouldn't even dare do it. My phone's annoying ring tone went off and it was my mother. "Hello?" I answered irritated. "Samantha Danielle this is 20th time I've called you! Where are you young lady?! I was worried sick about you! I cannot believe you! You better be home in 10 minutes. We will talk when you get here." After her rant she just hung up. I sighed rolling my eyes. "You're parents again?" Mary questioned. "Unfortunately."
"Well here we are." I said pulling into her driveway. "I'll call you tonight." She smiled. "If I have my phone, but alright bye." I waved. On the drive back home I just tried to clear my mind. I don't even care what they're gonna say. But I have nothing to worrying about they won't do anything like always.
I pulled up to the house to see my mother having a margarita on the porch at 11 in the morning, she must be pissed. As soon as she saw me her face went from worrisome and exhausted to mean and angry. I strolled into the house to see my dad on the couch, and my mother quick on my heels. "I can't believe you. It's one thing to sneak out and come back, but to not even come home and on a school night! You have went too far! This is a new low even for you! I swear this is and will be the last time you will ever do something reckless! I have already called three boarding schools that can take you in right now, and maybe even take your car since we can't trust you. So clean up your act or you will be there." My dad's voice boomed around the room. "You can't so that! I'm almost 18!" I scaremed back. "The hell I can, you'll finish highshool there if you keep being a little brat!" "You know what send me I don't care." I said as I starting walking up the stairs.
"You just don't get it do you? You have an amazing life. Everything and anything you've ever wanted, but get you act like this?" My mom said on the verge of tears. "Keep acting like this and Yale won't accept you." My dad chimed in. "I'm going to take a shower." I said. As I reach my room I could still here them talking about me. They don't get it. I don't want to go to Yale. I don't want to be a doctor or lawyer. I wanna be me. I wanna be who I am. I know how that sounds, I sound like a little spoiled rich kid that didn't get her way. But they just don't get it.
