Ship: Gunil x Jungsu

Ever since they were trainees, one person that immediately caught Gunil's eye.

He didn't understand why.

Maybe, it was the fact that his features all mixed together to make the perfect face.

Kim Jungsu's face card never declined. At least not for Gunil.

The day he found out he would be debuting the younger boy, he was over the moon.

He obviously knew that his feelings were one sided, and if they were somehow mutual then he knew that they could never be together. They were both boys. Obviously, for the idol industry, that was impossible. If anyone were to find out if the feelings were mutual and if they started dating, their band would only be known for such a scandal.

They were now practicing for their next comeback.

Instead of being concentrated on his drums, he was concentrated on the way Jungsu would play the keyboard. He found the way Jungsu would press down on the keys extremely attractive.

The missing drums were very easily noticed as they were part of the core of the song.

"Gunil-hyung!" Jiseok turned around and playfully rolled his eyes at the older boy. Jungsu smiled sympathetically before turning around, so did everyone else. Luckily for him, he managed to contain his blush until the attention on him was diverted.

"Sorry, I wasn't ready" Gunil explained himself, he wasn't excusing himself with this. But he was simply trying to explain away the lack of attention.

"Alright! Let's do this!" Gunil then exclaimed, after all, as leader he had to lead band practice.

Luckily, after this mishap, nothing dramatic happened. Only a few errors as usual. They also worked on their stage presence, to know how they would move on stage.

Although Gunil thought that he managed to hide his feelings towards Jungsu rather well, one person seemed to notice the behaviour.

And that's what he was about to talk with the elder.

The two boys were at the coffee shop at their company's building.

"Gunil-hyung" He started, getting the attention of the drummer.

"Please be honest with me" Seungmin looked at his drink. In his mind, Gunil knew it would be impossible for Seungmin to possibly know about his feelings.

"Do like Jungsu?" Gunil's eyes widened, he choked on his drink. He had to find a quick excuse.

"Well, obviously, we're in the same group and we spend a lot of time together" Gunil obviously knew Seungmin wasn't asking the question in a platonic way. Quite the opposite in fact.

"We both know I'm not talking about that way" A couple of tears formed in Gunil's eyes.

"I'm so fucking sorry" Gunil buried his head on the table. Seungmin immediately knew that the boy couldn't be out in public in this state, so he immediately guided him to the dorms.

Once the two were in their building, Seungmin locked the door of Gunil's shared room.

"I'm fucking this group up" Gunil broker down on Seungmin's shoulder. The younger boy patted his back, trying to calm him down. He didn't understand how such a simple question could put him in this state.

"What did I do?" Seungmin asked him, to clear the situation up. He felt bad for asking a question like that.

"I really like Jungsu" He whispered under his breath. Seungmin almost didn't hear him.

"And no, not just as a friend" He added through sobs.

"How long have you liked him?" Seungmin wanted to know, he was expecting the answer to be rather recent. Since this behaviour only was visible at the end of the Livelock promotions.

"Before debut, as trainees, he always caught my eye" Gunil explained, Seungmin tried to hide his surprise as it would kind of be insulting if he gasped.

"You're good at hiding it"

"Gunil-hyung!" A familiar voice called from the dorm. A pink tint covered Gunil's face. It's a voice he could always recognise.

"Should I open the door?" Seungmin asked, unsure if the elder wanted to see Jungsu.

He nodded so that's exactly what Seungmin did.

"Jungsu-hyung!" Seungmin greeted him with a smile. "Is Gunil here?" Jungsu looked around the room and noticed the elder sitting on the bed. He didn't need an answer from Seungmin.

Jungsu went up to him and hugged the boy. The elder lost his balance so Jungsu landed on top of Gunil. Seungmin was still watching the two from the corner of the room.

"I feel like a third wheel" He said to himself, he wasn't expecting any of the two to hear him.

"Isn't that for a couple? We aren't dating" Gunil replied, struggling to get Jungsu off of him.

"Yet" Jungsu let out, he quickly covered his mouth after saying that. He couldn't believe what he had just said. Gunil's eyes widened.

"Shit, shit, shit, I didn't mean to say that out loud" He added quickly apologising afterwards multiple times.

"Don't apologise" Seungmin looked at Jungsu, Gunil and then the door. He did this multiple times before silently exiting the room.

"Holy shit I just outed myself" Jungsu sat up and ran his fingers through his hair. Gunil was confused by what Jungsu just said.

"Outed..?"

"Well- i- I can't lie anymore, and even if that means you hate me, but I like you Gunil, you're driving me crazy, but I like you" Jungsu said all of that in one breath, so it did take a couple of seconds for Gunil to understand what he was saying.

"You like me? Holy shit, this is the best day of my life!" This time, Jungsu didn't understand what Gunil was saying.

"I like you as well!" A blush covered both Jungsu and Gunil's face.

"I know we won't be able to date, but could I at least get one kiss?" Gunil asked, that's the only thing he ever wanted. Because he knew he could never date Jungsu.

"Of course"

Gunil leaned in and quickly planted a kiss on Jungsu's lips.

"Thank you"
