Two lone riders rode on a wheeled shaped animal through a harsh and dry looking landscape. One rider that was clutching onto her male partner looked to the side and saw the many stone statues that were once living breathing humans. Her heart ached, and she ducked her head into the crook of his shoulder.
I know what you’re thinking. Lone riders, a dystopian world, a land that’s gone to waste
How did this world get so broken? Well, that began 500 years ago.A female voice narrated as a map shaped like a dragon showed.
Kumanda…This is what we used to be when our land was whole, and we lived harmoniously alongside dragons.
Beautiful magical creatures who brought us water and rain and peace.
It was paradise until the Druun came and ruined it all. They multiplied and consumed all life, and everyone they touched were turned into stone. The dragons tried to defeat them, but it wasn’t enough. That’s when the mighty Sisudatu, the last dragon, concentrated all her magic into a gem and BOOM!
The Druun were defeated, and all the humans breathed life again! Unfortunately, the dragons never came back alive.
A male voice took over the story speaking in almost a sarcastic annoyed fashion
It should have been this big inspirational moment where humanity united over Sisu’s sacrifice, but people being people- they all fought to possess the last remnant of dragon magic.
Borders were drawn. Kumandra divided. We all became enemies, and the gem had to be hidden. But that’s not who the world broke. That didn’t happen until 500 years later when I came into the story…

“Raaaayyyy!” A young girl with (h/c) hair yelled as she ran through the palace halls
A young boy skidded out of a room frantically searching for the girl. Just as he turned his head, a small body collided into his, knocking him over.
“Oh! There you are!” The young girl giggled, laying across the boy’s back.
He glared up at her and pushed her off, “(Y/N)! You made me worried!”
She gave him a sheepish smile, “Sorry Ray, but I have something to show you!” She grabbed his tanned wrist and yanked him forward, “Now come on!”
The two young children ran through the royal halls. Ray had to apologize multiple times to the other palace workers
(Y/N) is the daughter of the head gardener in Heart. She is always in the garden learning more about the crops and flowers bred in her home land. She is also the person that not only catches Ray's attention every time they share a space, but she unintentionally caught his heart.
"Woah there!" A deep voice chuckled out and caught the two kids.
"Chief Benja." (Y/N) smiled up at the older man.
“And where are you dragging my son this time?” The older man teased.
(Y/N) giggled, “One of my favorite flowers.”
Ray let out a small groan as he threw his head back, “Another flower?!
The young girl shot her best friend a dirty glare, Ray retorted by sticking his tongue out at her.
“Well I apologize, little (Y/N), but I need Ray at the moment.” Seeing the disappointed look on her face, Chief Benja smiled and said, “Would you like to join us?”
Her face brightened up, “Yes please!”
The three of them began walking.
“Now Dewdrop, I have something very important to tell you.” Chief Benja started, “The other lands, they're on their way here, as we speak.”
